Anyone who promulgates that polygamy is wonderful for women must be living in the Dark Miserable Ages, and especially miserable for women.

Just remember that this is the 21 st century.

Again, your either purposely not understanding what I am saying or you really just don't know. We don't have to have bases in these countries. We have bases in the region preventing instability. A deterence to post WW2 retaliation.

Its not necessarily your relationship with them that matters, it is the relationship with each other that matters. Unless your going to sit there and tell me a war in Asia would not effect you economically.

For heavens sake the rest of the bloody world has forgotten about WWII - the only ones who keep bringing ti up are the Yanks and THAT is only to remind everyone that they "saved" us

It's terrible that so much of the world has forgotten the most brutal war in history....especially since it was relatively recently. The conflict caused political ripples that are still very relevant today. Much of the world as we know it today was shaped by that conflict. To be so ignorant as to forget it is to leave an opening for it to happen again.

The Chinese haven't forgotten WWII. Japan hasn't come to terms with its war against the Chinese people.
