US aggression toward Iran will convince that country (and others) that their best option to protect themselves is to develop nukes as quickly as possible.

The U.S. should have left Iraq a decade ago.

    Yep ...
but this lesson has been learned by the world since 2003 with the US attack on Saddam ... at the very latest with the intervention in Libya and the overthrow of Gaddafi.

Frankly, I was also surprised that Iran got involved in the nuclear deal back then and fulfilled it 100% ... but we see at the time what happens next as soon as a maniac sits in the White House.
And even better, we see this in the example of North Korea, which has nuclear weapons and is also protected by China as a major power with a huge nuclear arsenal. Without this fact, the US would have long since done by military means short process.

    Conclusion:

    Rule # 01
If you're more likely to be on the enemies list of the US, and you're not completely unimportant in geo-strategic matters for the US, then create your own nuclear weapons, or befriend Russia or China as a protective power. Otherwise, the countdown is ticking for you until the US attacks you!

That's the problem. If the US falsely accuses you of having WMD your country is at risk. But if you actually have them you'll be ok.

It should never have gone. It invaded the country under fraud.

Now a British general Chris Ghika has gone public stating there is no unusual activity by the Iranians in his sector.

In addition to what Chris Ghika said other allies are doubting the US. European and US intelligence and military officials say that the aggression is coming from Washington, not Tehran.

    Yep ...

Germany has about 160 soldiers in Iraq of what 60 train Iraqi Army and about 100 the Kurdish militias in Northern Iraq in fight against IS ... also Kurds get a bunch of firearams too like the old G-3 assault rifle and the MG-3 machine gun (both 7.62mm weapons, Gemrnay has since longe also switched to 5.56mm aand depending new weapons) and the MILAN anti tank missile system.

Germany and Netherlands suspend in moment the training missions in Iraq for security reason and soldiers stay in bases, but the spokesman of the German Department of Defence clearly told that Germany has no intelligence findings and any knowledge about any existing Iranian threat as the US claims to exist... and so mission can be going on further soon.

But you already know the term "cause and effect" ... or "action and reaction"?

Why and when does Iran want to block the Strait of Hormuz ... what did Iran say?
"So, if the US ... because of its still illegal new sanctions against Iran ... will stop Iran from exporting oil from their soil ... roughly said "cutting off oil tankers from entering or leaving Iranian ports with the US Navy ... then Iran will block the Strait of Hormuz! "

So only a justified warning ... no threat and certainly no threat for no reason!

Sanctions are a non military form of pressure that does not require a military response

Sure ... and the Iran clearly told that they will close the street only, if the US will prevent the oil business of them by hindering ships on the way to them or leaving with oild from them.

So ... a clear message and warning only ... justified to do!
If ... for example ... China wants to buy firther oil from Iran, the US is not allowed to hinder China here by preventing that tankship / vessels go to Iran or to go from Iran!

I am not aware that US warships are seizing iranian tankers

But they are taking note of deliveries of iranian oil and threatening sanctions against 3rd party buyers of iranian oil

Yep ... but this is not the point why the Iranian made this warning ... and have big fun with the biggest oil clients of Iran to enforce your threat here ... aside fact that the US is acting criminal, with such a threat against 3rd who are cusotmer of Iran!
But I knwo ... typicall American behavior of "only we are allowed to say what is right and wrong on this planet", eh?

Gratitude deserves only the one who earns the thanks of the other with his behavior ...
So ... must Germany continue to be grateful to the US after 2 years of suffering Trump as torture for the mind ... and come another 2 years?

Germany stopped being grateful the day after the Soviet Union fell apart and was no longer a threat

Iran: “If we are prevented from using it [the Strait of Hormuz], we will close it,” the state-run Fars news agency reported, citing Alireza Tangsiri, head of the Revolutionary Guard Corps navy force. “In the event of any threats, we will not have the slightest hesitation to protect and defend Iran’s waterway.”

First Trump backed out of the Nuclear deal, and Iran did not respond. More recently Trump has moved to block all oil exports. So...you think Iran should just remain passive and just tighten the belt? How is that viable from the perspective of internal Iranian politics? There are consequences to Trump's stances. The notion that the U.S. can just push other countries into behaving their way because of its wealth and military might is misguided.

That's because the war monger, Zionist Bolton doesn't give a rat's ass about Venezuela. It is no threat to Israel.

    Lol ...
As always, you confuse gratitude with submission!

We are thankful for the help which the USA gave to Germany (West Germany). But is the US also grateful for all the help we gave them and all the things we did for them? Doubtful!

No ... you and many Americans are actually confusing subservience with gratitude ... because they think and believe that gratitude to them means being subject to the will of the US even against their own interests!
But why should Germany do that ... as a fully sovereign state on this planet with the same rights as the US?

Tell that to the 1/2 mill babies, and the innumerable other citizens now Dead in Iraq [IMG]
    ........
Sanctions of the type unilaterally impossed on Iran have been shown to be a very
..................................................... effective way of conducting devastating Seige Warfare.

They are imposed with the 'apurposed' intent of causing as much Sol-Moe Death & Suffering
as possible and are therfore found to be an Illegal Act of War according to the UN Charter

    There is ONE
    ....
guaranteed way that woulld immediately put an end to ALL Zionist NEO-CON threats.
.............. Russia & China should declare a comprehensive alliance with Iran and place
.............. 40 Nuclear missles in Iran, - ALL on hair trigger - ALL Aimed directly at Israel.

    The Israel First
Zionist Puppet Masters pulling their strings in Washington would immediately STFP !
