'Putin's puppet' is again escalating with a nuclear armed power. It is illegal for US troops to be in Syria. They're there working with the Kurds to deprive the country of its own oil and wheat. Part of Trump's 'maximum pressure' strategy for bringing down enemy governments.

Syrian Kurdish authorities to stop wheat going to government territory

The Pointless Cruelty of Trump's New Syria Sanctions | Foreign Affairs

Former CIA operations director John Stockwell:

All this is taking place just after US-allied Powers attacked Syria with a terrorist army, leading to the deaths of half a million people and millions of displaced refugees.

In Southern Turkey, CIA officials were "helping allies decide which Syrian opposition fighters" would receive arms. A 2012 classified US intelligence assessments showed that most Saudi and Qatari arms went to "hard-line Islamic jihadists". In 2017, the State Department was unable to identify a single "moderate" rebel group in receipt of Western support. Rebel-held areas were "dotted with Islamic courts staffed by lawyers and clerics," who want to "infuse Islamic law into a future Syrian government."

"As for the ‘moderate rebel force'” the CIA program was supposed to organize:

In north Syria, in "the revolution’s center of gravity, CIA-backed northern rebels were mostly backfilling for either the Nusra Front or Ahrar al-Sham, an Islamist movement-opposition faction and Nusra’s erstwhile ally." Moreover, the genocidal "Islamic State burst out of the opposition’s chest."

    This just in.

Leaked docs expose massive Syria propaganda operation waged by Western governments and media - The Grayzone

A Western government contractor, ARK, crafted a strategy to “re-brand” Syria’s Salafi-jihadist armed opposition by “Softening the FSA Image.”

ARK emphasized that it had “well-established contacts” with some of the top media outlets in the world, naming Reuters, the New York Times, CNN, the BBC, The Guardian, the Financial Times, The Times, Al Jazeera, Sky News Arabic, Orient TV, and Al Arabiya

There was a genocide of Christians going on that averaged about 300 a day - mostly in Syria. It was never mentioned in the MSM - yet the persecution of Yazidis, which was miniscule in comparison was mentioned. I came across this. Read the last part and you will know why.

He was a sick 12 year old Palestinian boy that they grabbed from the hospital. Notice the smile and pride on their faces. The one in the front with the cap, is a member of the White Helmet. These great humanitarians are supported by Britain and the US.

So....the fact remains.....what's the Russkis gonna do about it?

Answer: nothing! They will continue to be the dog chasing our troops vehicles and later pissing on the tires.....because it's all they can do!:).

I've always said that Trump is a Godsend to the American population. I say that because I am convinced that Hillary Clinton is one of the worst options the U.S. had at the time .... and still is. I don't like this azzhole Biden very much. Ah, but what was I going to say? Oh, yes! Contributions like yours make it increasingly more difficult for me to support him. But still ......... what's the alternative in a "two-party" shiit system? And who knows - maybe this scenario will bring the world back to the good old global balance days we once enjoyed. We do realize that it was pretty good, right?

I understand your view. It's typical of the gun-toting, Joan Wayne wanna-be's. The Russians (read Putin) have got the U.S. by the balls. How? By sheer cleverness. The Russians don't need weapons against the U.S. because they can out-smart the Yanks any day of the week. The fact that you do not realize this proves the most important part of this lesson.

The Ruskies helped Assad fight off the US, UK, Fr, KSA, Israel, Qatar, Jordan and Turkey from turning Syria into an Islamic State - because that was those nations wanted to do. Vladimir Putin was a God send not only to Russia, but to the whole world. Maybe Russia couldn't stop all of our destruction, but they did curb a lot of it. Thank God!

I'm a New Yorker so I know Donald Trump quite well. He was never likeable, but he's strong - and that's what was needed to fight Soros and the other one world order freaks. The perfect president for me would have been Rand Paul, but he would never have been able to fight the war mongers. Look at how they hindered even Donald Trump, so that he couldn't form a foreign policy differing from their own war mongering one.

Prof. Steven Cohen the foremost Russian specialist who died last week said, had they done something like that to Jack Kennedy at the time of the Cuban missile crises, we would have ended up in a nuclear war. You do not tie the President's hands in foreign policy. Who do the Democrats work for anyway, the US or George Soros and his 'One World Government'?

Yep....sure, they have us by the balls.

That's why we sent more material to Syria....the vatniks are like from the Road Warrior movie.....always chasing the US, nipping at the tires, getting squashed underneath them, and whatever's left proceeds to piss on those same tires.

    They're so clever.:))

Everyone in New York City knew Donald Trump. He was a publicity hound and was written up all the time. But since things like that interests you, my daughter did meet Ivana Trump at a luncheon. She went to things like that. Oh and my brothers did go to NY Military Academy, but it was before Donald's time.

Sure they did....and I personally know Kurt Russell and Brad Pitt. I was the sound engineer for Escape from New York, I dated Adrienne Barbeau, and Jennifer Anniston had a ride in my Corvette!

    Whatever you say Hillary Clinton.

You understand even less than I thought you did but that's the genius of Putin's psychological superiority and the same-old-same-old response of America's fallacious bravado. "We're the best!" you claim, while you're losing the battle and getting screwed by your own leadership at the same time.

An excellent reply. But maybe too much truth for some people to digest.
You don't 'sound' like you're from the city. Maybe upstate?
You've got your head screwed on better than most people.

    I agree.

    They wanted war?
I ask that question myself as I'm sure many Americans do.

Maybe we need to realize that Trump's most important battle is with U.S. political standards. If he can keep that in-check then most foreign matters will take care of itself and pose only minor problems.

Boohoo Trumps "cruel" Syrian sanctions. What about Assad's cruel policy from 2003-2010 of turning the eastern portion of his country into a terrorist highway/staging area in order to funnel fighters into Iraq? What about all the Iraqi civilians who died as a result of this policy? (Deaths that even the US media and scholars attribute ENTIRELY to Bush's war decision, while COMPLETELY IGNORING Iran's and Syria's decision to enter the war through proxies that greatly escalated and prolonged the war. Shame on you American media and academia!

Surprise Assad! Your decision backfired after Obama largely withdrew from Iraq, leaving all those terrorists with no one left to fight but you.

The media should have accurately reported Iranian and Syrian entry into the Iraq war so that our government could have acted with popular support against Syria before Russia could get on the ground and create an even more complex situation. Ya screwed up Assad and US media...and now Syrians are paying for it.

A simple multiple choice question for you:

The president of Syria is ...
    a). Barack Obama
    b). Donald Trump
    c). Bashar Hafez al-Assad

A simple multiple choice question for you:

The majority of terrorists from all over the world who went to Iraq to fight Americans and escalate and prolong the Iraq war likely entered Iraq through:

    1. Baghdad international airport (while occupied by US soldiers)

    2. Walked across the desert from Saudi

    3. Used Syrian/Iranian roads into Iraq.

Who remembers America "invading" Iraq "to get the oil."
Only, the French and Chinese got the oil contracts - not America.
So I wouldn't worry about America invading countries to get their oil and crops - they are
clearly comically incompetent. And it's doubly funny because there's a food glut in America,
and they don't need foreign oil like they used to.

Where were you when Trump abandoned these people to Assad and the Russians?
