US troops sheltered in Saddam-era bunkers during Iran missile attack

    The US has finally allowed journalists to go into the base it by Iranian missiles. The video report by CNN shows the extensive damage from those missiles and talks to US military officers and servicemen about their experience. I doubt the actual facts and footage will be something that would appeal to FOX viewers, so I am wondering about the spin they will be engaging in based on what is shown.

    Ironically, the US was able to avoid casualties (or casualties on a major scale, as the notion it suffered none is disputed by Iran) because it had received advance notice and had its troops hiding in bunkers built by Saddam!

    I'm thankful they gave us warning to get to safety, so they could make a show of "retaliation" without actually killing anyone.

    Considering Iran's amazing incompetence ---- as demonstrated by them being so rattled they blew up the commercial airplane ---- I'm glad they were able to pull off this publicity stunt with no casualties.

    Look how desperate CNN is to spin this as a loss for Trump.

    Soldiers were really scared and they totes coulda died becuzza Trump!

    Oh, and Iran totally wrecked those two shipping containers.

    That's gonna put a dent in the defense budget.

    Does the Iranian military award medals for confirmed shipping container kills?

    wow, now the left praises another terrorist, giving saddam credit for saving american lives (troops)...
