Statist seems to have a difficult time discerning the many contradictions in the positions. It is textbook compartmentalization.

Thanks for the comments but all of them are diatribe. Again, everything mentioned above is society's responsibility...

No, that is merely the same false and disingenuous evasion that you always resort to when you know that you have been comprehensively and conclusively demolished with fact and logic, and you have no answers.
Yes, and the points I identified as inherent to capitalism or modern finance capitalism are the specific responsibility of a society that has adopted capitalism or finance capitalism.

Capitalism is not responsible for your diatribe list! These are all decisions made by government, voters and society. If all of our trade and industry were controlled by the state and/or government, you will still have the same issues as outlined in your diatribe list...

I identified the specific injustices and abrogations of rights that are by definition inherent in capitalism or in finance capitalism. You did not even attempt to rebut any of them, because you know you can't. Calling statements that identify the facts of objective physical reality that prove your beliefs are false a "diatribe list" is not an argument, sorry.
And the ones I identified as such are by definition required by capitalism or finance capitalism.
In many cases that is true; but as I have not proposed any such thing, it is not responsive to the facts I identified, and which you cannot answer. Calling statements that identify the facts of objective physical reality that prove your beliefs are false a "diatribe list" is not an argument, sorry.

I just randomly picked one of your diatribes; "Capitalists use the profits of capitalist privilege to corrupt politicians and get even more privilege."

All people and businesses are allowed to donate funds to politicians and political campaigns! All people and businesses are allowed to lobby their politicians and request/demand policy changes.

    Like I said...all diatribe...

That is certainly a fact, not a "diatribe."
Ahem. "Allowed" in theory but prevented in fact. Those who own capitalist privileges such as land titles, bank licenses and IP monopolies are legally entitled to take others' funds in return for nothing, increasing the amount of political influence the privileged can buy and leaving the victims with less funds for their own political self-defense.
They are in theory allowed to, but privilege ensures that only rich, greedy, privileged parasites are financially able to.
All facts that prove your beliefs are false and evil. Because you have already realized that the facts I identified prove that your beliefs are false and evil, you have to dismiss those facts as "diatribe" in order to preserve your false and evil beliefs. You have to hate liberty, justice and truth because they contradict your false and evil belief system, which you value more than liberty, justice or truth. Simple.

Even more diatribe from you...you should focus on 'capitalism' and not your biased political views...

You have to call facts that refute your false beliefs, and that you cannot refute, "diatribe" because you know you have no facts, no logic, and no answers to offer.
I have focused precisely on capitalism -- private ownership of the means of production -- and its most prevalent modern form, finance capitalism: capitalism with a debt-based monetary system in which private commercial banks create almost all of the money in circulation as loan proceeds, in order to charge interest on it.

Again, more diatribe...fact is capitalism is not the root cause of all your issues!

I.e., more facts that you cannot dispute.
It is the root cause of the specific ones I identified as being caused by capitalism, for the reasons given, which you have not even attempted to dispute because you know you have no contrary facts or logic to offer.

This is a deeply insightful post.

I've realized in the past that the more things government is put in charge of, the more things are politicized. Until nearly every type of decision in life is politicized. It is a lot easier, after all, to put your money where your mouth is than to have to fight a political bureaucracy for change. Things people never had to fight over before they are now fighting over because they are all forced into the same boat.

Whether it is capitalism, or socialism, or nationalism, or some hybrid economy, the sole idea that production and trade is owned and operated by the private sector, was not the root cause of your diatribe list...

IMO...things are more politicized today because Americans are too stupid to understand the role of government and any sense of accountability. Everything government has become a big ****-hole because Americans demand more and more yet refuse to fund the government they demand, while interpreting the Constitution in regards to rights, and religion, etc. to steal and cheat government. Our democracy is failing because Americans/voters have failed to respect right and wrong. Americans have become too stupid to understand right and wrong! We are incapable of defining the problems and incapable of effective problem solving. Too many Americans only care about what's in it for them...with zero concern about the best interests of the US. Sadly, none of what I have stated here is going to improve in the near future thereby challenging life as we have known and everything that has made the US the greatest place on Earth. BOTH our problems and the solutions can be found by looking in OUR mirrors...

That's not the definition of capitalism. When you don't know the definitions of words you use, you are in the unfortunate position of not knowing what you are talking about.
OK, so whenever you are proved wrong and have no answers, you call the proof "diatribe." Got it. Every time you say, "diatribe" you are saying, "I know I have been proved wrong and cannot dispute any of the facts you identified."

I clicked on your LINK, hoping for a more cogent & cohesive formulation of the argument you are attempting to promote, & found that it is MERELY AN AD FOR AN INVESTMENT FIRM.

Yours was one very underperforming thread-HEADLINE.

Capitalism is an economic system in which private individuals or businesses own capital goods. The production of goods and services is based on supply and demand in the general market—known as a market economy—rather than through central planning—known as a planned economy or command economy. The purest form of capitalism is free market or laissez-faire capitalism. Here, private individuals are unrestrained. They may determine where to invest, what to produce or sell, and at which prices to exchange goods and services. The laissez-faire marketplace operates without checks or controls.

Unfortunately all you know how to do is insult and attack? It's a ****ing conversation, open to the public, open to all opinions, yet you feel a righteous need to win and declare others losers? Stop responding to my comments! Suggest you read about diatribes...

No, that's false. It's private ownership of the means of production, which comprises both capital goods and natural resources (land).
GARBAGE. Free market capitalism is an oxymoron. Capitalism requires private ownership of land, which forces everyone to subsidize landowners. Forced subsidies are by definition not allowed in a free market.
Everyone reading this knows I have provided facts and logic, and you have not even attempted to address a single point I have made, merely dismissing everything as "diatribe."
I am not the one who offered nothing but dismissal of all facts and logic as "diatribe," pal. You are.
Huh? You are the one non-responding to mine!
Suggest you learn how to respond to arguments and not just dismiss all facts that prove you wrong as "diatribe."

Where is the onus upon the people to adjust their lifestyles according to the economy of the day?

Yeah, the only ones trying to keep the people dependent, are the Progressive Left. Everyone else wants the people independent and self-determining.

Since he so accurately analyzed capitalism and predicted where it would lead, maybe it's time you cared.

I mean, you cared enough to reply to a post that wasn't addressed to you. So maybe you care considerably more than you would like me to believe!

I understand that is what you think Marx did vs Capitalism but he was mad or wrong.
