Utah signs into law .05 DUI limit, strictest in US

    Not really the most surprising. The Mormon mentality is against alcohol.

    What is kind of surprising though is that such a conservative state would be the one to have the strictest limit. Normally these very strict limits you would find in California, New York or Massachusetts.

    This is going to make it dangerous for people to drink any alcohol, even small amounts, before they drive. It's going to be like it is in Sweden, where if a husband and wife are invited to a party or dinner, one of them will completely avoid drinking any wine that's offered so that they can be the designated driver.

    Every state except Utah has an 0.08 limit.
