I know. Sorry, but if u read the thread you're the first one to even imagine the possibility there is something there. I think the sound is just As obvious as the video.

 

Maybe there is a reason for that. I saw something too, not sure either, (not a weapons expert by any means), but I see what you are getting at, I believe you in that you feel you may have seen someone shooting. (I, myself felt it was a flashlight tbh). But I do see why people hesitate to get into things like this.

When the Sandy Hook shootings took place, my Daughter was the same age as those kids that were killed. (She is an eighth grader now, as those kids would have been too I guess.)... A group of us parents were in an online chat, agonizing over if we should tell out kids, ( We didn't have a TV, and so what we watched was up to us).
Since they had to go to school the next day, the concern was, that they would hear about it there...

I had a freaken panic attack walking her out to the bus that next morning, and I had decided not to tell her about it. I did dress her in green and white, like the SH school had requested as a show of support. ( just a simple white dress with a jade necklace).

He dad and I were waiting when when she got off the bus, and I asked her:
"How was your day?
"Fantastic!"
Did anything unusual happen?"
"Nope!"
We thought we were in the clear, but then I logged on to the support chat later that night, and the other parents were like, "She knows". I said, "No, I don't think she does, she would have said something." They were so certain though, that I said, brb and I went to her room and I sat on her bed, and I asked her:

"You wore green and white to school today, were there other people who wore green and white too?"
"Yes. Almost my whole school, even the teachers."
"Do you know why?"
"No."
"Well, there's a school in Connecticut, and some kids were hurt, so they asked us to wear their school colors today, to show our support."

"Were they hurt? Or did they die?"
"Unfortunately, sadly, they were killed, yes.

She then went on to say "24 people right? 20 kids and four teachers?" Some kid's had been telling everyone all about it on the playground...

Then she had questions. A LOT of questions, she wanted to see the school, and the children online, but her main question, was "WHY did that man do that?".

And there were no good, tidy, explanations...We had to talk about Evil that night. Our family was only peripherally affected, and we needed to find some sense of "WHY". I can only imagine the survivors, and those who lost people they cherished, grappling with an even more desperate need to understand as much as possible WHY.

Then they have to deal with some absolute horror of human beings, when these families are at freaken Rock Bottom, dig up fake kids, faked funerals, huge ridiculous conspiracy BS, tiny little details,blasted all over the net, pics of their kids, blown up, and dragged in to hell of someone's Fck'ed up hobby.

Traumatized people need to process what occurred, and try to rebuild their fundamental understanding of their life that was just ripped apart.

They don't want to encourage the cray-cray's that are going to come running like sharks to chum. Point in case, you just had a poster talking about a certain prince Saudi Arabia, said poster then implied, "I have already told you enough to make you dangerous" ... Do you feel dangerous now GS?

 

One of these days I'd like to talk to you about that battle.

But I've also seen horrible things and hoped I was wrong about it.

Its sad when you can mostly figure it out just by looking, but I have had some tricky ones.

The bitter truth is this was pretty straight forward.

I think the shooter was intelligent.

Don't ever go by a video, particularly a brief cell phone video.

I doubt one man with a sub gun could have done the damage that was done there a year ago.

And there would be better video (surveillance) and brass on scene.

Pistol guns (sub guns are fancy pistols) have a far lower mortality rate.

When I woke up in the morning and turned on the news while watching the videos and hearing the gun fire, I couldn't identify what kind of weapon was being used because it was in a built up area but the first thing that crossed my mind, you don't even fire a full auto M-60 machine gun that way. You're going to burn up the barrel and likely have a stoppage.

One year later, bump stocks are still legal in the state of Nevada.

I think I'm going with what the survivors are saying, seems to me, they're the ones who would have a burning need to know the truth. ( Also seems obvious that there actually are "victims and survivors"), would be pretty easy to "Fact Check" that part.

As for whether it actually happened or not or that conspiracy stuff I've really don't know. I want to discuss the video and the possibility that it is an illusion .

 

Yes. I watched it with sound. I watched before I was even registered on PF. Way back when it first happened, because I was pointed toward it by someone else,
There were people who seemed to be running towards the Mandalay, in their confusion, that was why we were watching clips, and my ex said the same thing you are saying, "Is that a guy right there shooting too?" So we re-watched it a few times, and still couldn't be sure.

 

If it wasn't A shooter don't you think the timing of the flashes and the sound of the gunfire seem a bit Coincidental? Did you notice that as the video plays none of the others shots are nearly as loud?

I was happy for his opinion. As far as I know what he says is true. But it doesn't address the video.

I've been telling people I just want to know about the video. Very few seem to offer opinions about it.

 

Okay, I just watched it again with a head set on, and it's so brief ya know...It's a tough call. Maybe that's why nobody can address it, in the way you seem to be looking for?
