That is not true and there are plenty of International Observers who observed that.

Maduro got over 6,000,000 votes and his percentage of the electorate was 6% more than Trump. Guaido got something like 97,000 votes. The population did not vote for him to be head of the National Assembly and they certainly did not vote for him to be an illegal President.

My reading told me it was only decided in the days before the claim that he was President that it should be him and not someone else who should take this move. The US decided that the 'Opposition' would refuse to take part in the elections. Some did and apparently one of them who did indeed stand a fair chance of winning the Presidency did and was thereafter sanctioned by the US. The idea was to boycot the election and then claim they were not allowed to stand which was not the case. The idea was for the US to recolonise Venezuela by any means. Guido recently got told off for threatening he was going to 'authorise' the US military coming in if people did not do what he wanted. I was hearing last night about various other US regime changes in South America. On one the US supported regime was responsible for 80% of civilian deaths and on another 97%! so lets not pretend the US Regime has any care for anything else but its own gain, that the US Regime cares for either democracy or human rights including the right to life.

You do two classical things here:
1 - believe everything the Maduro govt says (as if you want to)
2 - connect it all to the USA.

There's other opinions about the integrity of the last election
and there's other players in Sth America and Europe who object to this govt..

    You make several mistakes.
    1) wrongly assume where I get my information from
    2. Connect everything to the US. In that post yes, I was talking about the US as that part was involved in the US. In others I have spoken about the Involvement of many European countries and Israel so wrong again.

There is the truth about the last election which I said and there is the excuse those who want to do a coup on Venezuela and take their wealth try to get people to believe. As I said I have spoken already about the involvement of Israel and many European Countries in this Imperial desire of conquest.

Edit; Whoops Canada and Australia as well in this Western Imperial desire for conquest.

What wealth? Didn't know there was any wealth left in Venezuela.
What "imperial" and "conquest" you talking about? China? Russia?
Cuba? They are all there, licking their chops. Cuban agents are planting
its view of a free society on the suffering Venezuelans. Russia is there
scooping up oil for debt and wanting bases. China is there getting
free oil for deb too, and wanting to expand its empire beyond fake
    islands and debt traps.
As for Americans in Venezuela, not so sure. English? Can't tell.
Scandinavian influence? Any French encircling the country? Maybe
the Germans want to swap debt for land? How about Spain teaching
Maduro how to deal with the opposition?

No, the problem with Venezuela is two fold.
1 - Socialism, starting with the appropriation of agriculture and industry
2 - Socialist scumbag countries and their fellow-travelers.

I am part Bantu. One of my ancestors came to Aust from Canada - Afro American
if you like. Traced this back via DNA test.
My Bantu ancestors invaded southern Africa about the same time the Europeans
arrived. And the Zulu's (Bantu race) had their own empire. Yet you don't hear of
black colonists, or black empires do you? No, empires and colonization belongs
to whites, apparently. And its the same with Socialism/Communism - at its height
it control one third of the world. It too was an empire - a Marxist empire. Quite a
brutal one in fact, in terms of body counts.

Nice wee interview between Tom Hartmann and Greg Palast

Will Sanctions Starve Venezuelans into Backing White Supremacist Coup?

at the end of that interview they mentioned Mario Corino Machado or was it Rubio. Well she is apparently wanting a Libya style Regime change - something which from the beginning many Venezuelans have been afraid will be what happens.

I am sure I read the other day that she was a member of the apparent 'social democratic' party of Juan Guido but I cannot find that link. However to fill you in on her political disposition

About the pictures of Maduro blocking the aid getting in which we are all seeing, apparently that bridge had never been opened and these trucks have been on it since it wasn't opened due to deteriorating relations between Venezuela and Columbia

OK, this is also a really good video. Both people in it knew Chavez. They speak about all the things he gave to the indigenous people who previously had no rights Presumably the people supporting a coup/civil war want that again. Is Maduro a Dictator? sorry, No. This is much more a reaction by colonialists who cannot bare the reality that indigenous people were making themselves self sufficient, were succeeding. Obviously we know the US is after control of their oil and Canada after their gold, nickle, diamonds etc. I am interested in what Europe is after. I hope it is not just white supremacy.

The Opposition are all white and the vast majority if not all seem to be educated by and work for the US.
