Workers at Verizon Wireless Retail Stores voted to unionize under the banner of a union (CWA) and it is a breakthrough for the union which has been patiently working with Verizon workers to organize. The employees were fed up with low wages, lack of job security, inferior medical benefits and poor working conditions.

I say good for them; they woke up and realized that the only real way to improve working conditions and pay would be through the collective bargaining process. Hopefully more Americans will wake up and organize under the banner of a union..
