    Border patrol saw both vehicles enter the country through a 10 foot hole in the border fence, and they watched the suburban until it burst into flames for whatever reason. Hmm, I wonder who told them not to even attempt to stop or apprehend them...

    I'm sure Trump didn't interview any illegals who may have worked for him, but companies and the people who hire illegals should get nailed.

    When we lived in CA my wife owned a sheet metal company that had 80 employees. She knew some of them were illegals but couldn't prove it because they had the right papers and firing them out of thin air would have gotten her sued or worse. We need a better system of control and enforcement.

    If they never snuck in they’d still be alive. Why should anyone morn them when they chose to break the law? We should be thankful their future activities won’t get anyone else killed.

    What does that matter?
    His companies and the people he does hire, hired illegals. And when caught, only fired them. He never deported anyone of them and never fired the managers.
    They come for work and companies like trump hire them. Without worrying about any penalties for doing so.

    Companies do background checks. And if something seems off, they don't need to hire anyone.

    The way I recall it is that I-9's are verifiable via computer online so oneness not have to rely on the piece of paper. Since I retired things may have changed.

    Let's say you find that your house has been infested with cockroaches.

    You want to get rid of them, of course, but do you find it necessary to round up only the cockroaches who were part of the initial invasion of your home, or, do you round up the whole damned bunch of them and remove them...?

    Really? The OP stated, "I have ZERO sympathy* for the adults who died in the crash because they should have known better than to sneak into our country and pack themselves into an SUV." I don't know if it qualifies for 'hate', but I can't imagine having zero sympathy for the loss of so many lives.
