Of course it can. People have donated large amounts to the govt for a specific purpose before. And the guy says he has support from the White House.

What it really comes down to is "progressives" just cant stand it when the people speak up.

Thats your typical cop out. You should be ashamed to have once claimed to be a researcher, you cannot even take 5 minutes to search out one simple topic.

Your laziness and closed mind is why I generally don't bother with you. You are almost a simple troll.

Wrong, thanks to the obama EPA which claims all water sources are subject to govt oversight. And thanks to Kelo from the supreme court, the govt can just eminent domain the land. Then there is the old fall back ace of "national security".

Those pylons and cable are at the border, and they do not impede water flow. The pylons can even be floating with anchors and not actual pylons.

This is all possible, and easily. The people who hate the USA are just making up excuses top try to derail border security.

No. It can't. I already gave you a link that say otherwise. Why don't you read it and see where you can dispute it.

I'm not going to do research for you again. Go look at the treasury department website and see what they say about donations. You have nothing to back up your claims.

Actually, they voted to give Republicans their pet project because they kept whining "We need a fence! This will solve illegal immigration!" They built it and it has had little to no effect.

Now more than a decade later Trump is yelling "More fence! That will fix our illegal immigration!" Yet he can't give details of what it is or where it would go. Not even how much he needs.

I checked well before your posts, I almost always check when someone in an OP makes a significant claim or makes a direct claim in a post to me. You can start here:
    https://www.dhs.gov/archive/information-donations

General donations are considered unconditional gifts (even if the donor places restrictions on the donation) to the govt and can be used in any manner the govt desires. If "the govt" decides to use the donation to build a wall, then the govt builds a wall.

    And its been done before.

Plus this has so much attention that it will get govt approval.

So you have any other false claims?

Note your link didn't prove a thing and in fact it refuted your claim. Perhaps you should read what you link before you make false claims the next time.

254,715 people is pathetic. I guess Trumpies don't like to put their money where their mouth is.

I said you could start there. But I'll be clearer:

Money can be sent to the govt, it goes into general revenue.
    https://www.fiscal.treasury.gov/public/gifts-to-government.html

But as you should expect there are work arounds which can be found, as in this:
    https://niskanencenter.org/blog/can-we-give-to-the-parts-of-the-government-we-like/

And since the wall funding has White House support, and there are loopholes, it can go to the wall.

In fact I can think of one right now: DHS puts out a request for bids to build a wall, a company makes a no-cost bid using the gofundme money, and its done.

Why is it pathetic? The man identified a problem, took action and a quarter of a million people responded by donating their hard earned money. Libs never do that, an example being global warming, they want everyone else to take action but never do it themselves. In fact, they want to put other people's money where their mouth is and not use their own cash. My wife and I are going to donate $100 each to the wall fund, what have you donated to the altar of global warming?

Remind me again how many people voted for Trump vs how many people that donated. I guess they’ve woke up and realized they were conned into thinking that Mexico would pay for it.

So far, the 63 million who voted for Trump/The Wall, have donated an average of 25 cents.

IRS rules say any individual can give a gift to any other individual up to $10k and the recipient does not have to report it.

He would only have to report those gifts over $10,000.
