I absolutely detest the phrase 'one must pay their fair share.' If that truly happened to be the case, then the people who suck up government services, benefits and cash like a Hoover would need to pay a lot more than they're paying now. But in the liberal world, many of the people they want to buy votes from receive more than their fair share and one of the best places to see this is the shares illegals get but hardly ever give. Another place to look would be the $100 billion Trump poured into poor areas. The money these people get comes from the people who earned it and goes to the people who did not - how in the world is that considered fair?

If that was true, then why would a liberal need 90% of someone's money?

I'm not a Republicans but supported their balanced budgets and measly deficits, why didn't you? You prefered the Democrats $1,400B in 2009 and the trillion dollar ones afterwards?

Who are the current fiscal responsible Democrats and which was the last fiscally responsible budget that they passed?

Republicanni competence is expensive. Dems had to save the US economy after republicans trashed it.

Why can't you just state which specific years you are saying they were "in power", I don't know what is your definition and want to be clear. Which specific years?

    They are such liars.

The Left's candidates will all pledge to repeal Trump's SALT tax on the Wealthy.

SO NOW “BIGOTED” IS SPELLED “UNCOMPROMISING:”

Representatives Rashida Tlaib of Michigan and Ilhan Omar of Minnesota were hailed as symbols of diversity when they were sworn in last month as the first two Muslim women to serve in Congress, Ms. Tlaib in her mother’s hand-embroidered Palestinian thobe, Ms. Omar in a tradition-shattering hijab.

Four weeks later, their uncompromising views on Israel have made them perhaps the most embattled new members of the Democratic House majority. Almost daily, Republicans brashly accuse Ms. Tlaib and Ms. Omar of anti-Semitism and bigotry, hoping to make them the Democrats’ version of Representative Steve King as they try to tar the entire Democratic Party with their criticism of the Jewish state.

And while Democratic leaders publicly defend them, some Democratic colleagues are clearly uneasy.

    Republicans pounce!

I think its reasonable to quote at least some budgets.

If you think its every year just say any year they were in power and he can eat cake.

I agree with you. If we're going to talk about people "paying their fair share" then everyone should be expected to "pay their fair share", otherwise it's just a dog whistle by Democrats to tell their base they're going to make the wealthy pay for the welfare class's share.

As if it isn't frightening enough now, imagine down the road..... If they want 90% today to pay for their social welfare programs, what happens when their base decides they are entitled to even more free sh*t ---- will they raise the taxes to 95%? 99%? Democrats are very shortsighted if they can't see that their base is just going to want increasingly more and more and more "free sh*t". They are feeding this beast to buy votes, but it's going to end up looking like Jurassic Park after all of the dinosaurs got loose.

And the wealth in this country will be taken out of the system and moved overseas, plenty of countries begging for this new influx of cash and of course we'll have less money to tax. Brilliant plan though simply brilliant. There's a history here go check it out and report back.

Me: I don't know what you mean, which specific years are you talking about, which budgets, why are you being obtuse about it.

If you can't define what you mean by "in power" and what specific years you are talking about then you have no business trying to discuss it which is obvious by your now having to turn to petty insults.
