    No, he will get either his 60 and out or 80 and out if he can take it but he won't like his next assignment. Beyond LTC, its all political. He screwed his bosses. That goes in his record. He has no chance of being promoted.

    The President is the Commander in Chief of the Army. Was Vindman so stupid that he believed his insubordination would be unnoticed? Vindman was removed from a job because he believed he was in charge of foreign policy with respect to Ukraine, not the President. He's lucky he doesn't leave with a dismissal (officers can't be given a dishonorable discharge). Instead, he will be remembered for being a tool of the Democrat's bogus witch hunt. In regards his Purple Heart, we have a saying in the military, "One ‘aw, sh*t’ wipes out a thousand ‘attaboys’".

    Aren't all LTC looking for promotion to COL? Then COL to GEN? You're right this guy is screwed no matter what he does. Just drop his papers and leave.

    Vindman was butthurt because he was a shoulders-deep brown noser of Yovanovitch, and Trump gave her the "You're fired(tm)" because she was one more traitorous rat in the nest.

    He was also incensed because Trump refused to allow a chubby Lt. Col. to dictate his Ukrainian foreign policy.

    Vindman is proof positive that angry people often make INCREDIBLY stupid mistakes.

    My son who served in the 101st Airborne calls him a pogue from central casting. Will probably spend the rest of his military career at a desk throwing sharp pencils at the acoustical tile ceiling to see is they will stick.

    I love how military service matters to some whenever it's convenient for the narrative. So Trump dismissed Vindman and we are using the fact that he is a military veteran as icing on the cake as to why that's even MORE wrong.

    I have been categorized as a deplorable and a racist human being on a number of occasions by Democrat Presidential candidates because I support Donald Trump.

    I am a military veteran, a front line combat veteran of multiple wars, and as a combat Soldier I literally can't name ONE fellow Soldier in any unit I've been in who isn't a Trump supporter. Combat troops are overwhelmingly pro Trump.

    So...how long are Liberals and Progressives going to allow their Presidential candidates and elected officials to categorize dedicated US Soldiers as deplorable and racists?

    Or does being a "dedicated civil servant and US Soldier" only hold weight if it's Trump who is after you?

    Does being a veteran matter or not? Don't pick and choose when it does and does not, it's disrespectful to us.

    I agree .. trump has the legal authority to fire Vindman ..same as he did Yovonovitz

    I'll still respect his uniform, and his rank, and his service, but the traitorous weasel rat in the uniform deserves nothing but my contempt.

    LOL I love when the left throws military honors in there like they actually support the military. This is 100% the correct action. Whether you like it or not the NSC cannot have guys running around talking to newspapers overlooking top level management and the executive branch. We're talking about classified information and can be done against in any negotiation or policy negotiation. If you don't get what you want, you don't go to the press, you don't go to subordinates. You are an advisory not the policy maker. If you want to be the policy maker go get elected, or quit that's your option. What this guy did is put his colleagues in a situation where they can't trust him and you HAVE TO TRUST him at that level of our government. You'll hear more about this soon.
