    Electors should be proportionately distributed based on the states vote. Divide the electors at the state level, based on the results within the state.

    They will regret that decision someday when a Republican wins the national vote while their state votes by a majority for the Democrat.

    The whole idea behind the EC is to provide yet another barrier against democracy.

    It should be done whatever individual states want to do. I bet most states have no interest in doing our elections in a parliamentary way

    The GOP is going to ditch the EC the second the Dems win Texas. They do not know how close they are to never winning again. After that feet the GOP will introduce this amendment ASAP

    Amendment XXVIII
    Section 1- The electoral college is hereby repealed, and the president shall be elected by popular vote, effective in 2021.

    I sadly think you are wrong about VA due to the large number of foreign born residents and the Bloomberg money. My advice is if you live in VA and can move West to WV, do so. West VA has constitutional carry and if you are 500 feet from a neighbor's house you can shoot on your property.

    No reason the EV’s couldn't be decided by congressional districts. Would have to come to a super majority decision on gerrymandering.

    Good lord. Amendments aren’t that easy. EV’s aren't going anywhere. The Feds have no say.

    Each state will have to decide how they allocate their EV’s. Is there anyone left who doesn't want the Fed bigger and more powerful?

    The last and current President have taken Executive branch authority to scary levels.
