People, make sure you are registered to vote, and that you actually vote on election day, Tuesday, November 6th. Trump may be a big mouth, and need some polishing, but at least he is doing well with the country. We cannot let the Democrats take over and continue the destruction of America by continuing identity politics, dividing everyone into oppressed groups, increasing the government's grip on our daily lives, ignoring the porous border, embracing illegal immigration and sanctuary cities, wanting to eliminate tax cuts, etc. The Kavanaugh confirmation was a big win, but we cannot be complacent. A blue wave is predicted, but let's make it a red high tide. Get out and vote!

The most anti American thing an American can do is vote for globalist democrats who hate America and Americans and want to punish them for all that is wrong with the world.

    Great.
Everybody should vote, and the only poll that counts is Election Night.:salute:

    Oh, and BTW:

(So let me get this straight.

A person with a 10-year-old account, who hasn't posted in 28 months, all of a sudden shows up out of the blue to make a bunch of troll posts aimed at Liberals?

This account has alternate/duplicate account written all over it.

I would recommend that the Mods do an IP check.)

There is nothing appealing for me in Trump, and he's guilty of the same identity politics, devision, and government overreach you accuse liberals of. I've never been a straight-ticket voter, but I'm not going to vote for Trump or anyone who makes themselves part of his cult of personality. I'll still vote for Republicans who are more independent and actually stick to small government principles when they come along, but Trump isn't even close to those principles.

I can no longer support a Political Party whose primary philosophy is
Discrimination against straight white men is acceptable.
That philosophy has heightened my awareness of the Mulatto Mafia. As a Californian I witnessed with Harris waltzing into a Senate seat with no accomplishments to deserve it.
It is the Democratic Party that divides and then tries to unite various groups.
Outcast, Bernie Sanders rallies were the most diverse in attendance.

    The Democratic Party made Trump.
The wishy washy Clinton / Obama centrists favoring Wall St., lost the working peoples' vote

Until change is witnessed, I am primarily an Anti Democrat.
No protest votes that don't count. Vote to get the Democrats out.
Then they will rebuild the party. Hopefully along more rational and party consistent ideas.
Until then vote straight, white man first. Ideas second.
California Senate, Dem Latino guy vs Dem Feinstein, vote to oust Feinstein.

While I agree that voting Blue is a very anti American thing to do - not for the reasons you state however - sorry but your justification really sucks. Voting Red is perhaps even more anti American.

Red Establishment hates the principles on which this nation was founded - "individual liberty ABOVE the legitimate authority of Gov't/ Limited Gov't Power and consent of the Governed" just as much if not more than blue. They love big Gov't and Big Gov't spending and wealth Redistribution more than blue.

"Give me or Liberty or Give me Death" "Those who would give up essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither liberty nor security".

Which party made it our "Patriotic Duty" to give up essential liberty - that would be Red. Blue then followed up by changing the name to the equally Orwellian doublespeak "Freedom Act".

It is those who get on their knees and hide in corners in fear - "Begging" to give up essential liberty over a risk of harm that is 400 times less than the risk of harm from "Walking" = GOP.

It is those who love increasing police power and demonize anyone who does not agree as "anti American" who are anti American = GOP.

It is those who think that the Second Amendment is for protection from "Bin Laden" rather than protection from Gov't = GOP ... using arguments to increase police power like " I have nothing to hide". This is the height of anti- Americanism .. These people have no clue that the inalienable rights are there to safeguard us - not from a burglar but, from the Government.

So spare me the myopic partisan blindness. Time to wake up and smell the flatus that is the GOP.

I will vote GOP for the Senate and DEM for the U.S. House.

    I like divided government.

However there is a great risk that the DEMs will win control of both the House AND the Senate at this point.

    Reasons:

    1 - Trump's failure to withdraw Kavanaugh's nomination

2 - Trump's tax cuts for the rich

3 - Trump's tax hikes on the middle class

    4 - Trump's attempts to gut Obamacare

5 - Trump's excessive time off playing golf

    6 - Trump's tweets

    7 - Trump's ridiculous statements about Mrs/Prof Ford.

The list is getting longer and longer.

Then again, WE may witness another voter rebellion against the pollsters, media and Democratic Party behaviors as got Trump elected! Y'think?

The recent behaviors of the Democratic Party is going to cost them votes.
Someday, they may understand it is NOT about solidifying the core while driving voters away.

The California Senate race where Feinstein is running against a fellow Democrat, Latino guy is the one to watch. The Blessings of the Open Primary gave us 2 opposing Democrats. The Latino guy beat Feinstein in the primary but the top two, run off.
Yes to Open Primary for Congressional districts.
    No for Senate and Governor.
Maybe we need to return to Party based Primaries. But, I see value for districts.
Party based, if you ain't registered in that party, you don't get to vote in the primary.
Making Primaries the "property" of the party. Maybe as it should be :hmm:

I’m doing something I have never done and have always said I would never do.
Straight ticket. If Trump is representative of the Republican Party I want no part of it.

You keep making that stupid assumption about other posters. I would be embareassed (see what I did there) if I made that stupid assumption multiple times. You made the same stupid assumption about me and then deleted the post. Thankfully the post can still be seen in my reply. Hey, look. I'm STILL HERE!!!!!!

Voting for Republicans will get you:

-Continued control over cannabis, even with its now documented medicinal properties.
-Continued restrictions of parental planning authority.
    -Denial of maternity/paternity leave.
    -Increased cost of living.
    -Furthering of the theocracy.

    Vote 3rd party.

With November 6 imminent, the lyin' crybaby misogynist inflicting another lyin' crybaby misogynist onto the Supremes comes at an opportune time for America.

I'm not voting, just as I haven't voted the last five to six elections.

I am going to vote for the county sheriff and that's about it.

You should do more research then. The current state of this country is nothing like 1930's Germany. Now you could make a case for early 1930's Spain. The years leading up to the civil war there have many parallels.

I have voted for presidential elections but never the mid terms. I am voting this mid term and telling everyone I know who likes Trump or supports Republicans to vote as well. There is a first time for everything.

I can agree with you about many Republicans, including Trump, being big spenders. Both parties have not been able to control government expenditures. However, at least Trump is getting things done. Putting aside his Twitter feed, and some of his off-the-cuff comments, he is doing well for the economy, tax cuts, trying to secure our border, reducing people on welfare, lowering the unemployment rate, etc.

Unfortunately, most Democrats will move us toward single-payer total government control of our healthcare, which will increase spending and taxes of the likes not seen before, ignore our immigration laws which will essentially open our borders, increase taxes, and chip away at our freedoms and liberty provided by our Constitution.

Most Democrats are about identity politics and victimization by dividing everyone into separate groups that need government to save them at every turn.

Most Republicans are more about individual liberty and freedom.

This is not even close to being true. Hard core conservatives are coming around to single payer. The KOCH brothers for example - who did a big study showing that SP would be less expensive than our current system.

Here some commentary from the "American Conservative" https://www.theamericanconservative.com/articles/the-conservative-case-for-universal-healthcare/

The Republican Establishment hates individual liberty, freedom - and the principles on which this nation was founded.

Time to wake up and smell the flatus.

This is certainly up for debate. Our pre-ACA system needed some tweaks and changes, but could have been much better than what we have now.
I agree with you about the establishment Republicans, but true Conservatives are certainly about individual liberty and freedom.
