Idiocy always comes home to roost. It will literally effect everyone’s safety and property rights when allow morons to run the streets. As a staunch anti drug legalization advocate I am excited to see some people pull their heads out of their butts. I would also like to ask them what in the hell were you thinking anyway? Have they ever met a drug addict? What kind of blue and rainbow box have you been living in your whole life? Here…. Please take the red pill.

anyway, hopefully this experiment will end everywhere. It’s moronic. Even Washington is seeing overdoses and drug use go on the incline. I’m not sure what they were expecting in their land of rainbows and unicorns but what they got was reality. There are people on this forum that still, even with these numbers, argue in favor of this idiocy. It’s mind boggling.

Stupidity always has a cost. I could go into the cost of other democrat experiments but in the name of staying on topic I will save that for another day.

It’s not just stupidity with liberal drug laws. Some cities regret their defund the police movement and their constant criticism of them is making recruitment difficult while officers are quitting because of the grief. Another regret is being a sanctuary city like New York where the mayor is now trying to get its sanctuary status removed. We’ll probably see more regret on the left’s open border policies, and we’ll probably see regret on their energy policies when the power grid can’t handle charging millions of cars. I think NYC is regretting their no cash bail lunacy. And of course there’s a lot of regret for voting for Biden.

the abuse of drugs and alcohol is there legal or not, just one makes criminals of those that did not abuse

Is it fake because you don't agree with it and so because you don't it should be ignored? That seems problematic... Marijuana being legalized isn't a specific enough ask. When you say, "across the board" that isn't specific either. What do either of these things actually mean for the nation? You want everyone to be able to access marijuana? Everyone? across the board? If I said everyone should have the ability to buy and have access to a gun, across the board, is that in your mind comparable? And if not, why?

they do not want back the war on drugs, those 500 people polled want treatment vs punishment for those addicted to drugs

and drugs are not legal there, people still have to deal with drug dealers to buy drugs, which means many OD as they do not get what they paid for

public intox, all that can still be a crime, just like with alcohol

I found your response entirely incoherent. Perhaps you want to take another stab at it?

Decriminaluzation sounds like a good policy, IF you can afford the drugs..
Nothing worse than a John Q Law sticking his nose in when you and your girl are doing a few lines in the park...
Besides, anybody who doesn't like it, is free to move to another state...
    ^Problem solved...

Not talking about Maryjane here. Talking about the open air drug policies which decriminalized shooting up heroine/fentanyl, smoking meth, anything they please in public.

Alcohol is banned from consumption in public areas for most states, cities, town in the US. With good reason. No one wants drunks on the corner, parks, playgrounds, storefronts causing issues.
    Keep it to designated areas.

This is one issue where both sides get it wrong. If someone wants to do drugs in the privacy of their own home, no government involvement is necessary. Alcohol is legal, but drunk driving and public intoxication is a crime.

Gun laws don't prevent criminals from getting guns and drug laws have never prevented crackheads from getting crack!

The Stupidity in this was not making treatment mandatory. If refused, then you should be charged as though the drugs were still illegal. Putting a phone number on the back for them to maybe call won't do anything. It's either treatment or jail.

I say if people want to do drugs then let them, but there are conditions:

Those addicts can’t use my tax dollars for their welfare when they lose their jobs. Their drug related health costs are in them and not me. They can’t loiter in my neighborhood and decrease home values while increasing crime. In all, they should zero negative impact on me, my family, my neighborhood or y finances. What that leaves them with is being sent to an island and volunteers can bring them drugs and food. Their poor choices are on them, not me, so I should never have to see or hear from them. Period.

Lol, not so with our House Democrats. They are so completely out of touch with the people.
Yes, this vote was taken today, and look what these idiots voted against.

More than half of the Democrats in the House of Representatives just refused to vote yes on a resolution that: 1. Commends police officers 2. Denounces 'defund the police' efforts This is not your grandfather's Democrat Party.

All of it. And no, I didn't have "trouble with it", it was incoherent. Did you want to try to refine what you wrote the first time so that is isn't incoherent?

I like to go to Amsterdam every couple years with some friends. One of them is unmarried so he takes time to bang hookers. The rest of us just smoke weed. The locals hate it. The streets of the red light district reek of burning marijuana.

Your choice. So stick with the incoherency. It allows you to continue to make personal attacks without the encumbrance of having to make an actual argument..

I would have tried to help you, but if you can't explain your issue with it, I guess we will have to move on

seems more like it was an attempt to continue at personal attacks, then an actual issue with my post maybe?

    either way... let's move on

You can't even explain which of the extremely simple concepts that you were unable to understand. Seems like you are the one embracing incoherency. And you've made no actual argument yourself . . . hence why you were asked to . . . and when asked you got upset and refused.
