Want to abolish the EC? Please read this

    Geography has nothing to do with it. It has strictly to do with the population of the state. For instance, Rhode Island has just over a million people with four EC votes. However, they are more densely populated than California.

    The fewer the people, the fewer the US Representatives. However, the number of senators remains two which gives the state two EC votes not matter what their size.

    Geography certainly has something to do with it. Factional interest is tied to local economy, which is tied to geographic resource. North Dakota has way more interest in fracking than Florida. Mississippi has way more interest in what Illinois dumps in the Mississippi than Colorado.

    We are talking about the electoral college. Geography has nothing to do with the electoral college.

    Address the point I made, nuh uh isn't an argument.

    The special interests (factions) the electoral college is intended to protect are certainly influenced by geographic resources.

    Should NYC, Chicago, LA, et al have an equal say over how resources native to Alaska are regulated?

    Why should I address your point? It has nothing to do with the EC. Just check the Constitution.
