Our buddy AboveAlpha has been offline for two months. I don't even know if he's coming back. I'm going to wait another two months and then I'm going to assume he was KIA (Killed in action).

even for angels, humans, aliens and other life forms who have behaved very, very badly.......

Dennis, I don't know nothing about that. I don't think in those terms. I'm an atheist.

 

Do you think God is powerless to preserve the Truth and make it available to His children (those that earnestly seek Him)? Do you think the enemy of our souls prefer that we would be preoccupied seeking information to gratify our itching ears?

 

Imagine that you are a being composed of fundamental energy.... but you are you..........

imagine that you compile and compile fundamental energy..... and somewhat less fundamental energy into more and more and more and more complex.......... forms....... the lowest energetic forms..... exist in four dimensional space time.

Imagine that you are actually kind of scared to share "life" with these forms......
because you know that they can go into shame, lust, greed, despair, hopelessness... and all kinds of other nasty thought and behaviour patterns??????

Imagine ... as AboveAlpha told us... that off the scale intellect can lead to a predatory attitude..... where aliens look at humans... .much like we look at chickens...... and see honey garlic chicken fingers?

Would you be attempting.... to the best of your ability to figure out a way to bring everybody back to light / truth / love...... light.......

forgiveness..... and ultimately HUMOR?!

My version of Theistic Evolutionary Theory..... was termed a valid branch of "Atheism" by a diplomatic and polite Atheist....... who really caught on to the larger picture.........

I wrote something to one of my near death experience forums that I will quote to see if this makes sense to you?

My theory is that near death experience accounts are metaphorical "new wine" and the scriptures are "old wine"...... and those of us who are really into the old wine........ the scriptures...... often find NDE accounts challenging..... but..... if we will read and research them........ we will see that there is actually no contradiction whatsoever between NDE's and scripture but............

John 16:25 "These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father."

NDE accounts are more clear... .and more easily understood.... and set the stage for.......

Jeremiah 23:20 "The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it perfectly."

Now... we can understand about Eventual Universal Salvation... but 1990 years or so ago.... even the Apostle Paul would not clearly explain it........

Romans chapters 9, 10, and 11 indicate that the Apostle Paul had been taught about this at the time of II Corinthians 12:2-4 but.... he did not feel comfortable to begin to explain it until many years later..... This is something that many near death experiencers tend to do..........

Just as a beginning....how do you reconcile this philosophy with Jesus and His teaching of the "wheat and the tares"? It sounds like you are saying the tares are to be with the wheat and there is no difference. Universal Salvation??? I find the simple teachings of Jesus to tell a different story. Why muddy the waters with a "private interpretation"? Surely if we are to become childlike to find the Kingdom of God we do not need to occupy our minds with deep dark secrets. Jesus called us "friends". Though I found the Lord through the "Pentacostal Movement", I withdrew from that line of thought when I found the "meat" of Jesus teaching to be so much more. Let others teach the hidden secrets....I find the life of living under the protection of Jesus' loving arms to be so much more. I have so much to learn from just His simple teachings and trust that He who began a good work in me will be faithful to complete it!

 

It seems as if you are interested in the War in Heaven.... War is destructive and just like any other war, it can be learned from.

But the War in Heaven is not like the wars on Earth, per se, but are like the wars on Earth.

Let's take first, the human being.

Then second, that human being's heart.

Thirdly, how that human being uses his or her heart against others.

War is 'against' and not 'with'.

And just like a 'war' that happened in Heaven, so it is and is not as the wars on Earth. Hearts against hearts.

So if you take every war and every casualty as a result of any war, personal or National, it can be looked at and compared to the 'War in heaven'.


If for purposes of 'interpretation' or 'as is', the War in Heaven account is looked upon, then here are some references.

First off, we have the one with the mark. The number of 666 being that of a 'man' and not any sort of Angelic being or creature.


Revelation 13:18 "Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six."


The very first sentence in that verse is: "Here is wisdom".

If we stop there, we can see who or what 'wisdom' is. Here is 'wisdom'. I'm introducing you to 'wisdom'. But this 'wisdom' in the Greek, although the same as most of the other 'wisdom' in the New Testament is NOT the same as the 'Wisdom' spoken about in The Old Testament. Although both words spell out 'wisdom', their definitions are different but similar. So in Revelation 13:18, 'Here is wisdom'. This 'wisdom'; to be concerned with numerology, star gazing, forecasting, signs and wonders, working collaboratively with [a] 'unseen devils/spirits, etc', is not the same 'Wisdom' which is spoken about in The Old Testament.


Some places require the need of a registered License to practice Palmistry. Just like some places require the need of a 'fishing and gaming' License in others.


Heart with heart... Heart against heart. Personally and/or Nationally. What do you think?

I read the first two chapters of this book yesterday evening and I was quite impressed with this fictional explanation of what is really going on in the negative part of the afterlife......
that the author based on many years of researching near death experience accounts.
