Yes it is. I mean they put a little garlic in it so you can smell it if it is leaking or whatever that scent is, but otherwise it is 100% natural, so it is, at worst, like Ivory soap, 99 44/100% pure.

If the super volcano under Yellowstone erupts your gas guzzling SUV is not going anywhere either because the ash cloud could end up covering the entire nation and causing a winter that could last several years. It would be an apocalyptic event that would shut down the entire nation.

Survivors who managed to live through it would be better off for solar and wind alternatives since fossil fuel supplies would be scarce for a long time afterwards owing the to the destruction of the necessary infrastructure for the extraction, refinement and transportation of the end products.

Natural gas can come from livestock manure. Dairy farms use it to generate power and use the leftover matter for bedding. They sell the exess electricity.

Methane in cow poop is just one of the volatile gases in the natural gas package, but yes. It is why so many people have died in farm manure pits over the years. They get into the methane cloud, can't breath, fall over, someone comes running to help them, they can't breath and croak, etc until half the farm is laying dead.

Let's see what Dr. Judith Curry came up with.

The windmill huggers and the Solar installations people never discuss a true emergency. Probably won't this time either.

You want to smooth data or else it will be inaccurate. If you don't account of time of day, time of year, heat island effect, and other things your data will be in trouble. It looks like your graph is for some random city in Iceland and isn't representative of the entire planet.

Do you see me as the better expert than Dr. Judith Curry is? Why accept my commentary over hers?

Huh? It was the perfect storm of the left not thinking ahead.

Its great to present evidence and use established sources but you have to paraphrase their arguments in your own words so posters know what you are getting at. Thats the whole point with debate, you make arguments in your words and then point to sources. I can't believe you don't know this since you have participated in forums a lot.

You and the lefts over use of the word cooperate welfare and subsidies always amazed me, you do know they consider giving low income people heating oil cash is part of that 4 billion in year subsidies figure right?

I thought the left are for the poor and middle class?

Rakiavik Iceland. I know, labeling is so difficult.... The example shows how observed data was "cooled" to demonstrate the warming trend. And while it only one example there are thousands more, from all over the world. As for the rest of the equivocations, the method of smoothing simply ensures the production of warming. The facts are irrefutable.

We're selling power back to the grid (since we're not storing solar electricity) and only pay if we use extra. As for outlay, our government had a solar rebate scheme for a year or so, if you paid for the installation they refund you almost everything. I can't remember exactly what it cost us, somewhere between 4-6 thousand and after we received our refund we were only about $400 out of pocket.

How do you arrive at it's the lefts fault for taking the backups offline just as demand was about to spike. I suppose Enron was led by left wing conspirators as well.

It doesn't matter if there are thousands of places that have less warming than average, what matters is average global temperatures. How can you deny this obvious fact? Even from looking at our ice caps, and species migration northward its obvious we are warming.

Still not as warm as the Medieval Climate Optimum when the Vikings appeared on the World.
Back then England grew better wine grapes than France. Not that warm today.

You simply fail to understand the point. The point is the warming being generated is man made, as in changing actual observational data to artificially induce a statistical trend. Sorry that may be too nuanced. It is, non the less true. I would ask though, that given your superficial list of symptoms, do you truly understand the topic?

What do you make of the fact that Iceland and Greenland have had record snowfalls? We here in CA, just yesterday, learned that at last, the road to Mt Lassen is now open. Even now, there remains deep snow and the road is embraced by deep snow. This, I believe sets a record for late dates to open that road. Think the birds might turn around and wait longer to head north?

I truly don't think the birds got the word it is better north than where they were.

How does this refute global warming? I am confused.
