    Biden has 1 economic policy I agree with and it's on taxes. On his website he wants to get rid of the cap on social security tax.

    There is only one reason the Democratic Party's candidate 'won'; repugnance regarding the Republican candidate. It is the same reason, in reverse, that the Republican candidate 'won' in 2016. This is the duopoly's modus operandi; keep the electorate divided over meaningless things and keep the power where it is.

    These Democrats who think the country as a whole wants progressive things are out of their minds. Certainly there are Progressives, and probably more of them than say, Libertarians or Constitutionalists.

    But the Biden win was not an endorsement of progressivism. There would be no Biden win if Trump was a better person instead of a dumpster fire.

    The Democrats have to earn back votes, and they aren't going to do it by doubling down on stupid. They will learn this, again and again, every two years, until they've learnt it or until they've tainted their brand so much that no Democrats outside of a few House districts are even getting elected at all. Certainly they will have a much harder time holding on to the Senate which will make all their nutty stuff dead in the water.

    There are Democrats in the party right now who know this.

    Biden has an economic program? His whole damn campaign was modeled on Aunt Bea's run for Mayberry's city council, "If the people want, then the people get..." depending what people were being spoke to at the moment. We'll see soon enough, God help us.

    Too close for just people and a progressive platform alone, it was Covid mostly (ignoring that progressives the world over have their spikes now) and the DNC/BLM funded Mob violence, vote Biden and pay your protection money (taxes) for free college for millions....or get more.

    That word means so little to me, but Biden is edging toward progressive policy if his platform is any indication. Same tone and tenor on healthcare, gun law, immigration. That is, if I correctly understand the "progressive" position on these issues to be government responsibility to give coverage to all, further arbitrary restrictions, and an attitude that the country doesn't actually belong to its own citizens (no bias here!).

    The AOC Wing of the Democratic Party does not represent the vast majority of Democrats.

    The Extreme Far-Left Agenda is a Non-Starter (unless the Dems plan on getting blown out in future elections).
