    But, there are certainly many people that agree with his essential premise.

    Was his firing right or wrong?

    Who knows?

    BUT, given the current culture in silicon Valley, it was NECESSARY.

    My theory is he knew full well he would be fired when he wrote it and doing so gets him out of his contract and probably will get him some hush money to go forward in life with.

But if you don't believe me and think this was wrong, then by all means prove me wrong by exercising YOUR "Personal Beliefs or Opinions" at YOUR place of Employment.

    Notice the enormous double standards. James Damore was fired for mildly offensive writing. Yet many women say extremely hateful things about men and are not fired, not disciplined and are not afraid of losing their job.

    It sounds like Google needs to find safe rooms or padded cubicles for the females who are so emotional

    unfortunately for him, he is at will, so the company has no legal issue. who knows what his relationship was with his superiors, maybe they had other reasons.

    I go on alot of tech sites: Tom's hardware, anandetch, (Dig photog) DPreview, etc. Virtually NO women.

    Check out tech/electronic/photo product reviews on Newegg (100%? men), Amazon 90+%? men.

    In fact, even most general political mbs/here, it's 90% men.
    It's not until you get to [Male-created] Social networks you see women in any significant number.

    Why should women be 50% of google if they are 5% of the tech-jobs pool.
