I agree, but I think they will need some help.

Which of the ~27 Defensive Talking Points do you think the Republicans will use for their campaign ads?

True, the idiots voted for their highly partisan unilateral impeachment in broad daylight.

The point that it turned out to be a strictly partisan vote remains. Shades of ObamaCare! Ultimately that didn't work out well for the Left. But try, try again, eh? Eventually something has got to work in the Left's favor . . . right?

23 votes to impeach last night versus 23 votes to impeach today is irrelevant when it comes to a kangaroo court. Today, however, will live in infamy as this nation just changed and not for the better.

You can bet Trump and the GOP will be targeting Trump states that voted for the 31 dems who haven't gotten anything done and didn't have the balls (yet) to vote against what will be recorded as one of the biggest democrat screw ups in history.

Not gonna happen... at best, America might be more discerning about what they allow to ooze into the Oval Office going forward...

You can bet Democrats will be targeting Trump states and Democratic States where GOP members bent over backwards to keep Trump's balls warm despite glaring evidence of his corruption.

Long before that I bet. It's what he was booted from the Navy for. Yet we're not supposed to question his Ukraine dealings.

LOL, today's vote will be greeted by me with a mixture of boredom and amusement. Anyway, if it helps fire up Trump's base and get him re-elected so be it.

If every president is going to blatantly abuse their office and then try to obstruct any check and balance on them, then I hope so.

But my biggest hope is the the GOP does some soul searching. For now, they've decided they are the party of Trump and stand for little else, and I don't think that will change until Trump is out of office, whether that's in 2021 or 2025, but maybe they'll realize that picking similar candidates in the future is not a good long-term strategy.

Unless its a blue state it would be a waste of money. Impeachment isnt polling well in red or swing states. This was a massive political blunder done just to appease the far left base in blye states

The easy one, show the testimony that anyone actually heard Trump, not presumed, HEARD TRUMP wanted to withhold anything for aid or a meeting.

This is the most politically motivated hack job ever. The only impeachment ever that had NO CRIME committed.

Andrew Jackson ignored a SCOTUS ruling, he wasn't impeached.

Whether you love or hate him, there will never be another Trump.

Can we post video of Trump saying that he wants Ukraine and China to investigate the Bidens while standing on the White House lawn?

But your theory seems to rely on the logic that it is impossible to find someone guilty of an act unless they admit to the act.

Republicans are retiring in those red states specifically because they no longer want to defend this President.
