If the aid was withheld because Trump wanted investigations announced first, that's both QPQ and Extortion, even if Trump didn't mention it directly on the 7/25 call... When Ukraine found out (early Aug or Politico article - whichever) and Sondland confirmed it, that's also Extortion and QPQ...

It's ironic that the party espousing the obstruction of this investigation by having officials refuse to honor subpoenas is whining and sobbing about "due process" when they can't point to anything in the law to support that contention.

Yeah, but I don't know how much Giuliani would have been involved in the aid withhold... Giuliani was out pushing his conspiracy agenda. He's sort of the "Quid" guy, if you will...

I imagine he would have had little interaction with the aid decision, although I don't discount that possibility. I'd look more towards the internal administration people for Trump talking about that, which means (to me) Mulvaney, Pompeo, Bolton, and Perry...

It's probably moot, as none of those 5 is likely to testify until the Senate trial..
