The left wing narrative is that LEO's only kill blacks or mainly blacks because whites, LEO's, and the system are racist. But the truth is that LEO's kill twice as many whites as blacks. And all killings by LEO's are a matter of behavior and situation, not race. Law enforcement is not a racial quota specific mission. It is criminal, behavioral or law specific. Per capita, Asian Americans are the least likely to be incarcerated or killed by LEO's. This isn't because our nation favors Asian Americans. It's because Asian Americans are more law abiding and least likely to have run ins with the law. It's despicable for the left to suggest that cops are killing blacks all over the place, and just for the fun of killing blacks. And it is astonishing that anyone would believe such nonsense, and commence to rampaging. The American left is terribly ill of spirit and mind.

 

I'm sure they are but what has that got to do with this wholly justified shoot in a free and democratic society?

Does it somehow make sense that in terms of numbers, more whites will be victims of police violence ... isn't it?
But if you start to relate the number of acts to the proportion of the population ... that is, per 1,000 people according to skin color and ethnicity, etc. ... then suddenly you get exactly the value that is why BLM exists!
If 10 blacks cruise down the street legally with loud music in their 50,000 USD car and 10 whites do the same ... guess who is stopped more often by the police and then who more often becomes maybe a victim of police violence, eh?

They DID see a threat, he pulled a gun on them, they handled it fine. Maybe you should join the police and teach them where they're going wrong?

Absolutely because black people are more involved in violent crime, more likely to have mental illness and more likely to resist arrest. The change has got to come from the African American population because the police can't change.

I've literally never heard anyone, anywhere, make this argument. What I have heard is that blacks are disproportionately affected, which is true. Also, when it comes to incarceration, the statistics I've seen control for the type of crime committed. Blacks are more likely to be incarcerated for the same crime as whites, they are also more likely to be subject to the death penalty or tried as an adult. This isn't leftism. This is math. It also isn't necessarily deliberate racism. But pretending it is just due to one race being more "law abiding" than another is complete nonsense.

 

His actions were all lawful and he obeyed commands. Do blame the cop for murdering him. His actions were crazy.

He wasn't trying to shoot anyone. Why are you making **** up? He was placing his weapon on the ground and surrendering. Should cops just shoot everyone they see with a gun?

 

When do you suppose you'll run to the streets to start protesting? When do you suppose the looting and the rioting will commence?

 

We can't cure stupidity. Most people who get shot by the police did something stupid. That doesn't mean they deserved to get shot, but still ... people do some really stupid things to put themselves in harm's way.

He was trying to put the gun down. If he was being aggressive, he would have raised the weapon. My eyes work fine. Thanks.

He was crouching and setting it on the ground, with one hand raised in surrender. Yes, I watched the video. You should try doing the same. Barrel was down, he never raised it, he was setting it down on the ground and surrendering. He NEVER directed it toward "his oppo" or made any motion that would indicate that he was about to do so. Try watching the video instead of making **** up.

 

I'm trying to figure out how these people have deluded themselves into believing that he was readying himself to shoot. No one shoots like that. Any honest person who has seen the video has to admit that he was complying and surrendering his weapon.

For shooting a man who pulled a gun on his partner? The man's actions were crazy, the officer acted correctly.
