We have a responsibility on this Forum to do our part, however small, to stop White Supremacists

Today there were 20 dead (at least). This is escalating. And it's not a joke.

Most of us have been taught to be tolerant of everybody else's ideas. However, the one thing we should never tolerate is intolerance. And White Supremacists represent intolerance.

White Supremacists probably participate in all political discussion forums in this country And it should be no surprise to anybody that this one is not an exception. Many of us have had debates with them. And we understand that forum rules do not allow us to refer to them as White Supremacists. They are not a majority of posters on the right, but they are present.

El Paso police has said that the individual that took these lives published his Manifesto in a political forum. Some participants in the forum took it seriously and even called the FBI. So the FBI was aware of this before the shooting. This might have had something to do with the quick response. I don't know. But we also should be vigilant.

The FBI has explained that they don't have the resources to monitor all these forums. So it's up to us to play a small part, if we ever see activity like this here.

White Supremacists have been responsible for far more killings than Islamic Supremacists after 9-11, and the gap is only widening..

But remember we are a country that allows diversity in many areas and we don't punish anyone for what they think. At least so far we don't. Now I'll say this -- we have a choice of the country we want to live in. If you want speech control and a no-guns-allowed-country you should think about leaving the USA. On the other hand if you want a country with our many freedoms, and sometimes crime, then you need to accept the way of life in the USA. Our freedoms are a trade-off. Make your choice. But remember, mass killings will never be completely stopped in any country.

 

Government must be tolerant, but we don't have any duty to allow diversity insofar as it includes white supremist speech and we have a lot of ways to punish offensive speech as a society. We need to use them

 

Yes. Manifesto published in an online forum.. Not too much unlike this one. Some called FBI when he published it. So apparently they had some previous notice.

As a matter of fact... they have never killed anybody. But they have bashed some White Supremacists. Makes them kinda endearing.

No! We should not allow all ideas. The idea that it's OK to kill people who are perceived as inferior because they are not white should never be tolerated, for example.

How do you know they have never killed anyone? You might check with a peaceful journalist/photographer about the "endearing" beating he took from Antifa.

 

Certainly if someone puts a manifesto on line which appears to indicate that he considering killing someone, it should be reported as fast as possible. I have never seen such a manifesto.

 

What do you suggest we do to stop the thousands of annual killings done by blacks?

 

So who says it's a white supremacist manifesto let's see it I'll need a lot more proof than your say so that I dude who shot people of virtually every color and age range without preference is a white supremacist.

 

Talking about punishing over speech. ... Turns out that Farm Girl and Exoman were removed from the list of those posting on youtube able to be paid by Youtube for content. Turns out Farm Girl is simply so lucious in her bikinis they claim it is over sexual content. She is no more nude than millions of women are in bikini or shorts. But they lost their income on Youtube because she is too damned pretty.

 

I know they haven't killed anybody because White Supremacist apologists would have flooded this forum with it... probably in all Caps. And their big Boss: Tump, would not let a single political speech go without hollering about it.

I have not seen any post by anyone threatening to kill someone. Most everything else is protected by the First Amendment. Even white supremacists.

Nope we have to tolerate white supremacists speech. What we can't tolerate is speech calling for violence.
