The existing health-care system should logically be "Romneycare 2.0", because it is almost a carbon-copy of the system Mitt Romney installed in Massachusetts. Or perhaps "Pelosicare", since the then-Speaker was the brilliantly effective horse-trader who actually got the thing passed into law.
But Republicans were convinced that Barack Obama would be unpopular, and that "his" health-care system would fail... so they insisted on "Obamacare".
    O-o-o-o-o-p-p-p-s-s!
The system works, by just about any measure, and Barack Obama left office with the highest popularity rating in recent history. Americans like Obama and Obamacare.

Now a Republican "replacement" plan has been presented by Speaker Ryan, so some are calling it "Ryancare". It was immediately endorsed by President Trump, so some are calling it "Trumpcare".
As general awareness grows of just how bad the plan is, many Republicans are only interested in not having their own names linked in any way. Mr Trump's close allies at Breitbart are saying "Ryancare", because the AHCA doesn't go far enough.

I suggest "GOPcare", so that all Republicans may share in the glory... or shame... of this bill. I'd pronounce it "gop-care" rather that "gee-oh-pee-care", and I'd create a new adjective from it: "goppy".
A piece of legislation is "goppy" when it utterly ignores the interests of both the party's voting base and the general public, in favor of reverse-Robin-Hood (taking from the poor to give to the rich).

Most analysts think that the demographic that will be hit the hardest is older White people. Trump supporters.
