Our legal system is broken from the local FBI office in Florida to the upper level in Washington. It did not break over night it took years even decades. The one thing it has shown for sure is that it IS a total failure. Crimes that COULD put you in prison are ignored when committed by a select few. The really bad thing is current news is showing just how large that select few has gotten. The percentage criminal office holders we have right now counting department heads is higher than the general population. The last thing tax payers need is a watch dog group to oversee another watch dog group that watches over yet another group. They are slowly working the American tax payer into a corner where he/she will demand the entire thing be torn down. And it's closer than you think. Honky
Beat the people down and force them to accept a corrupted government. I lived in Mexico and that is exactly what they are doing. You don't support a party, you pick a drug cartel.
Yeah, I can just accept it. I'm not involved with it so whatever. Y'all have fun with your little revolution though, I'll be rooting for ya!
I have to say it really did bother me a lot seeing Strzok refuse to answer questions before Congress and citing the advice of the FBI as his reason for refusing. It’s ****ing Congress. You’re a federal agent. You ****ing answer the ****ing questions and the advice of the FBI is worth absolute **** in that room. YOU ****ING ANSWER.
Not in open hearings you don't. You answer in front of a select committee with security clearance. They've been doing that for the last sixty years. Don't get your panties all bunched for a standard practice.
Who better to know their goose is cooked than an FBI agent? Strzok knows he's pretty much screwed and is going to go down swinging. He's not just finished as an FBI agent but in general what are his prospects now? If in the unlikely event he dodges prison his future is relegated to some really small time security stuff or private investigations or some such stuff. I wouldn't trust him to be a mall cop.
I don’t know about his future prospects. You’d be surprised at who might hire him. What I do know is that he should be in jail right now for contempt of Congress.
Would conservatives be happy if Trump gets rid of the FBI and CIA (or the department of agriculture, education etc)? As a liberal I think it would be interesting if we follow up on the conservative rhetoric and just got rid of the federal government. I think it would come back quickly, but conservatisms would not once the public realized just how important the federal government is to their well being. So lets get rid of the federal government and find out who is right.
That's the million dollar question. With Obama having weaponized the IRS, the FBI, the CIA, the NSA, Homeland Security, the Federal and Supreme Courts it's going to be a long slog. Already it's pretty clear that the DOJ is still in it up to their eyeballs. If Trump can survive all of this it is absolutely necessary to arrest and prosecute everyone involved and punish them commensurate to their role in the worst political scandal in the nation's history. Everyone all the way up to, and including Obama is culpable and should be exposed in their entirety for posterity. Make no mistake, this is without a doubt the darkest chapter in our history. What Obama and Co.did and continues to do is as unAmerican as the attack on 9/11 and all those involved are no better than terrorists.
Not a conservative, but would be most happy if both the FBI and CIA were disbanded, together with decentralizing 80% of federal bureaucratic functions back to the states. On a simple ROI basis, the taxpayer is being royally cheated by the federal government in thousands of ways. The results obtained come nowhere close to justifying the immense costs, and the massive corruption compounds those costs greatly.
