Try as much as as you will to discredit him or make a mountain out of whatever molehill, he loves America and Americans and is accomplishing great things for America or making it possible for Americans to accomplish great things. Can anybody you guys on the left is supporting claim anything close to this list in 2-1/2 years or in 8? Could Obama?

And I am hoping the IG's final report and the Durham Report will be the first significant step in doing just that. I know our President is all for it.

The effort to pressure Ukraine for political help provoked a heated confrontation inside the White House last summer that so alarmed John R. Bolton, then the national security adviser, that he told an aide to alert White House lawyers, House investigators were told on Monday.

Mr. Bolton got into a tense exchange on July 10 with Gordon D. Sondland, the Trump donor turned ambassador to the European Union, who was working with Rudolph W. Giuliani, the president’s personal lawyer, to press Ukraine to investigate Democrats, according to three people who heard the testimony.

The aide, Fiona Hill, testified that Mr. Bolton told her to notify the chief lawyer for the National Security Council about a rogue effort by Mr. Sondland, Mr. Giuliani and Mick Mulvaney, the acting White House chief of staff.

Bolton expressed grave concerns to Ms. Hill about the campaign being run by Giuliani. “Giuliani’s a hand grenade who’s going to blow everybody up,” Ms. Hill quoted Bolton.

Imagine that. The Trump White House sends a letter to the speaker of the House telling her to vote on impeachment of the President. Now we have Trump's NSA telling Trump's Russian expert to notify White House council about the activities of Trump's lawyer.

In the meantime, Trump's supporters claim Trump is a competent President. Go figure.

Influential televangelist and Christian Broadcasting Network founder Pat Robertson is the latest of Trump’s longtime supporters to decry the President’s decision to abandon the United States’ Kurdish allies in Syria.

“I believe … the president of the United States is in danger of losing the mandate of heaven if he permits this to happen,” Robertson said during the Monday episode of his CBN show, “The 700 Club.”

Beats me why evangelical Christians are loyal to an admitted sexual predator.

Trump: No, no, Nancy. No, this was [unintelligible] — and I moved on her very heavily. In fact, I took her out furniture shopping. I moved on her like a bitch. But I couldn’t get there. And she was married. Then all of a sudden I see her, she’s now got the big phony tits and everything. She’s totally changed her look.

You are being lied to again!

Trump portrayed the “Phase 1” agreement he announced on Friday with China with typical fanfare, describing the pact as “massive” and “the largest contract” ever signed.

“We made a fantastic deal,” Mr. Trump said during remarks on Tuesday at the White House.

There are good reasons to be skeptical about those claims. The deal appears likely to benefit American farmers by increasing Chinese purchases of agricultural goods and gives some other businesses more access to the Chinese market. But the “agreement in principle” is limited in scope, and exact details have yet to be put in writing — a process that has derailed negotiations with China in the past.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/15/business/economy/china-trade-deal.html

The problem is, you people believe his lies. You have been lied to over 12,000 times. As of Aug. 5, his 928th day in office, Trump has made 12,019 false or misleading claims, according to the Fact Checker’s database that analyzes, categorizes and tracks Trump's statement.

Still you believe him. It is like a cult. Why you people insist on making fools of yourselves in front of others is a mystery to me. Maybe you think you are upsetting others, pissing them off. Actually, no, you are simply confirming what others think of you, and it is not complimentary.

Here's the participants in tonight's debate
    [IMG]

As much as they tried to keep her out, they are having to allow Tulsi Gabbard--she is the one candidate who does not terrify me--participate but don't look for CNN to allow her much opportunity to speak. They don't like her.

But honestly, could Quid Pro Quo Joe, Spartacus, Pete, Julian, Tulsi, Kamala, Amy, Beto, Tom, Elizabeth, Andrew be a problem for President Trump? I just can't see America voting for higher taxes, open borders, guys playing on girls' sports teams, irrational confiscation of guns, abortion on demand at any time for any reason, the liberty destroying and insane Green New Deal, requiring religious groups to agree with leftist values/policies or lose their tax exemption, giving free healthcare to illegals while Americans have to pay for it, etc. etc. etc.

Okay I watched as much as I could stomach which was about 10 minutes. It so far has been strictly a bash and impeach Trump occasion designed to be sure nobody learns a damned thing. A pitiful waste of time. So on to other things. . .

My God, it is worse than I thought, far worse! I speak from that standpoint of a retired Marine officer, and Chesty Puller must be rolling over in his grave.

Joseph Francis Dunford Jr. is a United States Marine Corps general and served as the 19th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff from October 1, 2015 until September 30, 2019. He maintained constant contact with the leadership of the Turkish military.

Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joseph F. Dunford, Jr. spoke with Chief of the Turkish General Staff Gen. Yasar Guler today. The two leaders discussed updates to the security situation in Syria and the importance of U.S.-Turkish cooperation in the region. The U.S. and Turkey enjoy a strong and continuous military-to-military relationship as key members of the NATO alliance. https://www.jcs.mil/Media/News/News...iefs-of-staff-gen-dunfords-phone-call-with-c/

Trump waited until Dunford retired. The mealy mouth, lapdog Mark A. Milley replaced Dunford on Oct. !. Milley is far more concerned that his troops might get hurt rather than the mission assigned to them. He is quick to pull them out of harm's way, and to hell with the mission.

On October 5th Trump ordered the retreat of American troops from northern Syria, betraying our invaluable ally, the Kurds, and causing the release of hundreds of ISIS terrorists.

Butt kisser Milley approved of the dishonorable decision. So did Trump's other butt kisser, SecDef Mark Esper. It is why they were hired.

It gets worse. Until now I simply thought Trump made a stupid, dishonorable decision that involved the betrayal of an ally. I was joined by many, Republicans and Democrats alike.

It is more than that. On Oct. 5, "President Trump had given his endorsement for a Turkish military operation that would sweep away American-backed Kurdish forces near the border in Syria."

"Administration officials said that Mr. Trump spoke directly with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey on the issue on Sunday. And the officials indicated that the 100 to 150 United States military personnel deployed to that area would be pulled back in advance of any Turkish operation but that they would not be completely withdrawn from Syria."

"Turkey will soon be moving forward with its long-planned operation into Northern Syria,” the White House said in a statement released just before 11 p.m. in Washington. “The United States Armed Forces will not support or be involved in the operation, and United States forces, having defeated the ISIS territorial ‘Caliphate,’ will no longer be in the immediate area."

    https://www.nytimes.com/2019/10/07/us/politics/trump-turkey-syria.html

I don't have words, I really don't. The report says it all, I guess.

Ever consider addressing the real activities being reported on a daily basis FROM THE WHITE HOUSE instead of barfing up everything you read?

    Didn't think so.

Personally, I think the sanctions against Turkey are brilliant. What does the NYT tell you to think?

Trump’s decision — made in the span of a week — to withdraw about 1,000 American troops from northern Syria caught the Pentagon, and the forces on the ground, off guard. Now, American troops are making a hasty withdrawal from all of Syria, not just northeast Syria.

Trump ordered the complete surrender of Syria to enemy forces, which include the Turkish army, Assad's Syrian national army, and Russian troops.

The Times reports, "Russia announced Tuesday that its units were patrolling between Turkish and Syrian military forces near the strategically important Syrian town of Manbij, in a sign that Moscow, a key ally of the Syrian government, was moving to fill a security vacuum after U.S. troops withdrew from the area.

"The Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement that military police in northwestern Manbij were patrolling “along the line of contact between” Syria and Turkey, with a senior Russian official saying Moscow was working to prevent a confrontation between them.

"Col. Myles B. Caggins III, a spokesman for the American-led coalition based in Baghdad, confirmed on Twitter on Tuesday, “We are out of Manbij.'"

Now Trump thinks he can end all this with rhetoric and economic sanctions.
