Interesting. I wouldn't have known him unless I studied it for a bit.

I like it. Of all the things I like about Donald Trump, his outdated hairstyle isn't one of 'em. :roflol:

This is truly amazing to me. And proof positive why Democrats may never win another presidential election. Their lunatic fringe is huge.

‘I am back,’ Bernie Sanders tells supporters at NYC rally

    By STEVE PEOPLEStoday

NEW YORK (AP) — Storming past questions about his health, Bernie Sanders vowed that he’s “more ready than ever” to fight for a political revolution — with a little help from new friends — at a rally Saturday that drew thousands to a New York City park. The rally offered a pointed reminder to skeptics in both political parties that the 78-year-old democratic socialist is still very much a force in the 2020 presidential race.

Sanders opened his remarks by apologizing that he secured a permit for only 20,000 people. His campaign, he said, was forced to close the gates on many more people who were trying to enter the Queens park just across the river from Manhattan.

“To put it bluntly, I am back,” Sanders declared, sparking chants of, “Bernie is back” from the massive crowd.

“I am happy to report to you that I am more than ready — more ready than ever — to carry on with you on the epic struggle that we face today,” he added. “I am more than ready to assume the office of president of the United States.”

The event marked Sanders’ formal return to the campaign trail less than three weeks after he suffered a heart attack that threatened both his life and political future. Even before that, he was in danger of falling out of the top-tier in the 2020 Democratic primary field. Polls suggest he’s lagging behind liberal rival Elizabeth Warren and establishment favorite Joe Biden.

But the fiery Brooklyn native, backed by a slate of new endorsements and two new stents in an artery connected to his heart, appeared to be expanding his coalition on Saturday.

I think its a nostalgia thing.

They know he's not going to be the candidate and want to see him one last time.

Must be some emotional reason .. certainly has nothing to do with rational thought.

I hope some of our folks with a good eye for photo shop will give that photo a good going over. It just looks out of whack to me. For instance that group of 'giants' that seems to be standing about halfway back on the left. Optical illusion?

I haven't been able to find any video that shows a whole crowd shot as is typical at Trump rallies, but this video doesn't look like that photo of the Bernie crowd either--for instance there is nobody behind him in the crowd photo as there is at the rally video

    LOL, section reserved for giants?

If it wasn't N.Y. I'd be more skeptical. Gotta consider the source. ;)

Amen to that! Even if Trump were to be defeated in 2020, he would have still spared us from that nightmare.

In all honesty, I literally cannot think of a more toxic, utterly corrupt candidate for president - ever.

If she were president, I think there is a high likelihood of war with Russia over Syria. She openly talked about creating no-fly zones over Syria if she were elected. Her lie (as always) was that this was to "protect civilians". (Remember that same lie? It was used to justify Libya.) It wasn't for that. The truth is, it was to protect the anti-Assad forces, not civilians. And who were they? A mixture of forces, the dominant ones being AQ and ISIS. She would have literally turned our Air Force and Navy into Al Qaeda's Air Force. When questioned about this she would just say that we would take steps to "deconflict" the air space. Of course, "deconflict" means "tell the Russians they may not support Syrian government forces from the air", simply claiming strategic air space as our own now, all under the lie that this was just to protect civilians.

I shudder to think how that would have turned out.

Regime change was her thing. Same in Libya-where Americans (including a sitting US ambassador) were murdered on her watch.

There was nothing that lacked sense in my post. Try addressing reality - rather than running to the playground - name calling - prior to sticking head deep in the sandbox of denial :)

Everything stated in my post can be substantiated ... Trump is an Establishment wonk and an Elitist.

Your problem is perhaps that you do not know what the Establishment is.

None of the Dem Front Runners - that's for sure. I like Gabbard's anti interventionalist stance.
The GOP is slim pickens as well ... Paul makes more sense than anyone.

You are not a Big Picture person - you are mired in partisan blindness - and have no ability to respond to information that conflicts with your blind partisan perspective.
