First of all, that's a lie. But I'm sure that doesn't concern you. If you saw it on an internet meme, it MUST be true, right?

Next, trump spent more on security for his office building than Obama ever spent on "staff". And trump rapes the government for HIS charges for his golf courses, golf carts etc, every time he golfs, which is about 5 times a week. This far exceeds his "donations" by an order of magnitude or two, or more.

But I'm sure that doesn't matter to you either. If you love trump, nothing else matters. Right?

I'll make it simple for you: Everything trump says or does is a con. And it is transparent to most of the civilized world; just not trumpers.

Out of his own pocket, not the taxpayers pocket.

Big difference, but I doubt will accept that because it doesn't fit your narrative.

True. Trump doesn't know what he is.

The Chamber of Commerce is a Republican fortress. It is a bastion of the GOP and all the GOP stands for.

Trump has managed to piss of the Chamber of Commerce.

President Donald Trump is right to pressure China to change its protectionist trade and business practices, but he should not be using tariffs do it, a top official at the world’s largest business lobbying group said Monday.

Myron Brilliant, head of international affairs at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, also told CNBC’s “Squawk Box” that Trump should never have used the threat of tariffs to try to force Mexico to crack down on illegal immigration, especially with ratification of the new USMCA, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, pending in Congress.

“The weaponization of tariffs — the increase of threats on our economy, on our farmers, our manufacturers, our consumers — is going to hurt our country. It also creates uncertainty with our trading partners,” said Brilliant, suggesting the Mexico situation might send the wrong message to China that the U.S., even if it makes a trade deal as in the case of the USMCA, may still come back later and hold tariffs over their heads. “The world is watching,” he added.

What was Trump's reaction? He blasted the Chamber of Commerce, of course.

Prior to backing down on his bogus threat to our largest trading partner and friend, Mexico, Trump managed to anger Trump Republicans in the Senate, including Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and several other GOP leaders.

He has managed to anger the Republican stronghold, the Chamber of Commerce. See post 1407.

He has even managed to piss of the Koch brothers. That piece of brilliance took some effort.

Americans for Prosperity (AFP), the Koch brothers-backed political organization that has spent tens of millions of dollars supporting Republican candidates in the last several election cycles, says it is open to supporting candidates of any political party.

Since its founding in 2004, AFP has been known as one of the most influential conservative organizations in the U.S. During the 2018 midterm cycle, the group — and its super PAC, AFP Action — spent a combined $15.3 million on independent expenditures aiding Republican candidates. AFP also engages in other forms of advocacy, including significant local organizing and issue ads, which do not have to be disclosed to the FEC.

Over the last two decades, the Koch network’s major groups — AFP and Freedom Partners — have cumulatively spent about $120 million in independent expenditures supporting Republican candidates or opposing Democratic candidates, according to OpenSecrets data. They have not spent a single dollar supporting Democratic candidates during that time.

I have known all along that Trump is stupid. I never dreamed he was so stupid as to provoke the GOP leadership, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Koch brothers with their huge financial support for the GOP.

Someone said on here that we don't like Obama because he's "black" , problem is, everyone that knew him growing up would tell you Obama was mostly Hawaiian. I never considered Obama "Black" , I considered him a Chicago communist.. Red thru and thru.

Reading this morning that Mexico is saying some $$ for the caravans came from the US/Europe. Anybody wanna bet the Democrats/Soros are up to their necks in this mess? No wonder theyre claiming Mexico's concessions are no big deal... they're hoping it will just go away.

Obama did tend to lean Marxist in his view of the world. Full blown communist? No, I don't think so. Any more than Trump is in any way Nazi, racist, homophobic, Islamophobic etc. etc. etc. in his world view.

Why is it though that leftists/Democrats always want Obama to be BLACK? Why is he BLACK any more than he is white? What makes it so important to them that he be BLACK?

I was leery about having a BLACK president because that would mean we would have to treat him differently, walk on eggs, measure ever word and nuance lest we offend his or their fragile sensibilities. Any criticism of his policies would result in us being accused of being racist. And that is exactly what we got in Obama.

But a black president, i.e. somebody who happened to have black skin but who would be like all other Americans and could be treated like any other American was fine. Though we all know that only leftist/Democrat black people are worthy to leftists/Democrats. Black people who stray off THEIR reservation and embrace conservative ideals or thought are the scum of the Earth, hateful, stupid, ignorant, discredit to their race, Uncle Toms.

    The hypocrisy is glaring.

The thing I disrespected in President Obama is he apparently had no integrity in his beliefs. He gave us all hope with his campaign rhetoric, and then promptly put that all on the shelf once he was in office.

Which is why, in spite of considerable personal baggage, we can support President Trump. Whatever, whoever he is, he has kept the faith with the American people. Despite unprecedented hatred, vitriol, and malicious attacks and a media almost entirely in bed with the Democrats, he has for the most part been unwavering in his resolve to keep his campaign promises. And he is accomplishing them more than any President in my lifetime. THAT is what integrity looks like.

I have never had a President like that before. And I like it.

Nothing new about that, a lot of them are never Trumpers who would be angered by anything that Trump does.

So what, the CoC is pro illegal immigration and open borders, they live for cheap labor and illegal labor is cheap labor.

Totally false, AFP has and will continue to support Democrats who subscribe to AFP policies, nothing new there and it has nothing to do with Trump.

Actually he is not stupid at all, he plays the media like a fiddle getting tons of free airtime other lesser intelligent politicians would have to pay for, he has been getting his way with campaign promises, but the best part is he is driving, literally driving the progressive left insane and in the process has caused them to reveal who they really are, rabid haters of everything American, people who wish the country would totally fail so they could move in and take over with their socialist agenda.

I've started a book, "Rising Star: The Making of Barak Obama" by Davis j Garrow.. a pulizer prise winner and a college professor (who voted for Obama twice). Obama had to culture and obtain a "black identity" because he had no affinity for "Blacks" but started acquiring an affinity after college. He was just an American kid.. such as we used to think of them before his Administration.

You've got it half right. America needs a new Senate with a Dem majority so Mitch McTurtle can't block the dozens and dozens of bills being passed by the House.

That's smart investing, get in early on something that one feels will go up and then sell when it does.

Next he needs to buy into MAGA 2020 hats, the same acronym can be used, just change great to greater.

Not a bad idea, but I think autographed (properly documented) hats go for considerably more these days.

I still remember how amazed & appalled I was the first time I heard Barack Obama being referred to as BLACK! And that it came from his own party!! Here we had just spent the last 40 years learning to judge a man by the depth of his character and not the color of his skin and Democrats threw all that away to elect the first BLACK president. (Once they found one who was clean & didnt talk with a negro accent.)

I was so naive back then, I fully expected Barack Obama to speak up, demanding to be referred to as an AMERICAN, not a BLACK man.

The rest is history. Democrats are hypocrites and the worst enemy of ALL BLACK people. Obama was nothing more than their houseboy.
