I personally think "feminism" attacks femininity.

When you see a female with short cropped hair, tattoos, jeans, singlet, boots, cigarette and course language you aren't dealing with a person who treasures the feminine, but rather what is masculine. She is giving her approval for maleness.

It's incredibly racist - radical feminists are saying in effect that brown and black people can have the babies, and motherhood and marriage, to keep the population paying taxes for govt support for... social programs including feminist ideals.

Then why did you post this in the Gay & Lesbian Rights forum instead of Religion and Philosophy if that is what you actually want to discuss?

In effect YOU chose to make this about gays and marriage so whining about it is disingenuous on your part.

Americans, and most people in westernized states today, practice SERIAL polygamy!

Gay marriage has absolutely NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with serial polygamy since it was around LONG BEFORE gay marriage was made legal.

So it is DISINGENUOUS to attempt to CONFLATE two entirely DIFFERENT issues.

Playing the "holier-than-thou" Judaeo Christian card is the height of HYPOCRISY given the BLOTUS criminally ABDUCTING and INCARCERATING children who have committed no crimes without any hint of condemnation from the religious right.

Yes, given the corruption by some law enforcers, I would never accept the idea of Rule Of Law.

I see it this way - there's a conga line of moral issues
starting from more milder forms (divorce) and working its way through living-in-sin
to homosexuality to pederast polygamy. Each one designed to offend. As each offense
wears off, activists shift to the next issue to confront and shock.

Nobody cares what consenting adults do behind closed doors. People also don't care about breathing about any event that may or may not have happened.

So I don't value hyperbolic nonsense.

Do not be mistaken. Many other forms of poly are occurring right here and now in the US, and we are becoming more and more public. While triads are the most common, quads, like my spouses and I, and larger are not unheard of. There is chain poly, and closed group poly, and open group poly, and mixtures of them and so much more.

Morality, at its core, is about not harming others against their consent. Most of those do not involve harming somebody against their consent, they're just leftover silly rules from the bronze age bible that thought it was okay to massacre people and execute children for defying their parents. I am glad we are moving beyond the barbaric rules of the bible.

I agree with that, but I didn't see a stat on more people thinking that's okay. Children should care for their parents, but I don't think generation X was better about that than millennials intend to be.

Cheating on a spouse is bad, I don't know if the 7-8% change is even statistically significant. Of course it does depend on how you define cheating. People in open marriages would be completely fine with their partner "cheating" and in that case it ceases to be wrong.

Uh no we didn't. The war on drugs happened, and it hurt a lot of people without helping the drug problem.

Again 7 to 8% might not even be significant. Is cheating even higher or more tolerated now? I thought the 1950s were a time of boys will be boys, the secretary is fair game and legal spousal rape. I've seen no evidence of either cause or effect from you. What is this epidemic of broken homes and, if it exists, how do you tie it to no-fault divorce?
