Russia takes only what it has a legal right to do. (Alaska, California, Hawaii and New York. And of course some areas of Europe.) And I've never heard claims to Russia from the civilized world. EU countries and the US no one considers civilized, so the opinion of these insects is not interesting.

I would be interested in hearing your Legal" argument for Russia owning these places, as I have never heard of it. The "Civilized World" has never made claims to Russia because they have none and do not just decide to take what they want.....perhaps Russia might try this?

Georgia, Crimea et al would have appreciated it.

    North and South Korea.
    Ethopia. Sudan. Algeria.
Israel. Argentina. Rwanda. Serbia. Croatia. Bosnia.
Iraq. Iran. Georgia. Ukraine. Turkey. The Soviet Union. Chechenya. Greece. This is in danger of turning into a very long and disputed list.

After WW2 came the war of the pygmies. As Churchill famously described it.

Russia is very lucky indeed that only their big mouths work like weapons....they'll probably survive a lot longer opening their mouths instead of closing their fists!

You will please note that every country you listed is still their own country with no United States control. Are you by chance trying to claim that having a military presence is the same as invasion?

Kuwait is once again their own country. Thanks to the USA's invasion.

Ukraine's not it's own country. It's like 4 countries now.
    Syria isn't either.
Georgia is it's own country again after Russia's invasion kicked them out of someone else's.
    Algeria is no longer France's.

Serbia, Bosnia and Croatia are entirely new countries. Not Yugoslavia any more at all.

Cypruse is neither Greek nor Turkish any more.
    Chechenya surrendered to Russia.

If you were looking for examples of American occupied countries, Syria.
Syria has been arse ****ed by America. (Amongst others).
South Korea is a puppet state of America. Invented by America, twice invaded by America, maintained by America, occupied by America.
Outside of the Olympic games, it's no longer it's own country at all. It's been split off.
    Liberia is an American colony.
The list for America will be long and disputed.

Texas is probably part of Mexico. Lol.

A subscription to a UN security service agreement?

Nothing like having a "Regiment of Hammers' Slammers", at your disposal.

Well you certainly lost them didn't you? As to the ad hominem - I'll bet you live alone, have a flag pole in your front yard with the stars an stripes, and you go outside every morning to salute it. You're the archetypal arrogant red-neck nationalist yank who can't stop poking your nose it where it is neither asked for nor wanted.

It's a long time to write. I'll say it shortly. All the republics of the former USSR are a legitimate part of the Russian Empire. (the Baltic countries were even bought from the Swedes). This is understandable to all. We will not dwell on this. Alaska, California, Hawaii - were also part of the Russian Empire. You know that. Later, for example, Alaska was leased. (the Baltic countries were bought, Alaska was leased) By the way, the agreement does not specify the date of Alaska's return. According to legal norms, Alaska should be returned at the first request of Russia. New York - compensation for the illegal seizure of Russian lands.
In addition, after a nuclear war, it will not matter to you. You yourself will be happy to ask for membership in Russia.

As expected, you simply make up whatever you want when called out....you seriously suck at this whole debate thing. It would seem that according to your "Logic" ancient borders and territory should be used to define current nations. I guessing you might not want Denmark to claim Russia...Correct?
"The early history of Russia, like those of many countries, is one of migrating peoples and ancient kingdoms. In fact, early Russia was not exactly "Russia," but a collection of cities that gradually coalesced into an empire. I n the early part of the ninth century, as part of the same great movement that brough the Danes to England and the Norsemen to Western Europe, a Scandanavian people known as the Varangians crossed the Baltic Sea and landed in Eastern Europe. The leader of the Varangians was the semilegendary warrior Rurik, who led his people in 862 to the city of Novgorod on the Volkhov River. Whether Rurik took the city by force or was invited to rule there, he certainly invested the city. From Novgorod, Rurik's successor Oleg extended the power of the city southward. In 882, he gained control of Kiev, a Slavic city that had arisen along the Dnepr River around the 5th century. Oleg's attainment of rule over Kiev marked the first establishment of a unified, dynastic state in the region. Kiev became the center of a trade route between Scandinavia and Constantinople, and Kievan Rus', as the empire came to be known, flourished for the next http://www.geographia.com/russia/rushis02.htmthree hundred years."
