    https://ago.wv.gov/gunreciprocity/Documents/POLICY - Federal noncommandeering - PUBLISH VERSION 20211230.pdf

The WV Attorney General has published his policies and guidance on HB 2694 "The West Virginia Second Amendment Preservation and Anti-Federal Commandeering Act."

Thanks liberals. Your efforts to protect illegals by establishment of sanctuary cities and your non-cooperation with Federal law enforcement to arrest and deport illegals has provided an approach for non cooperation with any future attempt by Democrats to implement Bloomberg style gun control in WV.

Thank you West Virginia. Now if somebody can convince Joe Manchin to switch parties the Republicans would have a majority in the senate.

Glad to see that West Virginia has joined Texas in this. When California declared itself a sanctuary state for illegals it set the precedent for ignoring federal immigration laws. Now Texas has followed suit. As of 1 September, "Constitutional Carry" is the law of the land in Texas and one can buy a silencer made in Texas without having to meet federal laws regarding silencers. Texas is a 2d amendment sanctuary state. WELCOME TO THE CLUB WEST VIRGINIA!

I would like to buy a sound suppressor for home defense since donning hearing projection may not be an option in many situations -- but I don't want to jump through the hoops. I had an immediate family member become involved in a home defense situation when his house door was kicked in. Things like this make me think that a rapidly develop situation means not having hearing protection and a subsonic round with a suppressor would be the way to go. Here in WV I would have to suck up to the local Sheriff or establish a trust to get a suppressor -- something that I just don't want to do. I was disappointed that the Republicans never let the Federal Hearing Protection Act out of committee when they had a chance.

I never liked Manchin before because of his teaming up with Obama to push gun control. That being said, I believe he has saved the Supreme Court from being packed and thus preserved the United States. Clearly he has stopped Biden from funneling money to his cronies via his Mother of All Boondoggle bills.

Throughout history, when the USA has faced really serious threats, God has sent us help... from Gettysburg to Bastogne, from the Battle of Midway to ... Manchin.

Move here to Texas. Become a resident. You can buy a suppressor and take it home the same day... if its made in Texas. That's state law as of 1 Sept 21.

I lived in Houston for a short time. They had an anti-crime program that would probably help with the crime today in CA. And that program was called the Houston Shotgun Squad. At the time is was used for stake outs, but in CA could be revisited as a mobile squad. with bait to attrack criminalsfor the follow home crimes.

A suppressor used with rounds that are supersonic, which most are cannot suppress the sound made by the bullet after it leaves the barrel and breaks the sound barrier.

As such if you want the maximum sound suppression one can provide you need to use it with sub-sonic ammo like .380 ACP or many .45 ACP rounds.

For HD purposes, I'm prepared to live with the supersonic crack if I can reduce the sound of the shot. I've tried 110 gr .300 Blackout at 2200 fps through a suppressor. It's loud but not prohibitively so.

A 380 is like a knife... about the same range.
