    Thanks for following up... I just saw an article myself and searched for the thread to close it out, but I'd like to make sure everybody sees it.

    The entire class fired, plus the trainer who pushed for the picture??

    Too steep?? After all, WVA likely puts some serious bucks into training these bozos....Some punishment is certainly due, but termination of the entire class seems like a waste of money and effort to me...

    Maybe I'm just feeling kind with my first glass of New Years champagne?

    Oh please, the total stupidity, I guess people don't know that's how Americans used to salute the flag before World War II.
    It was almost universal in public schools.

    Yeah, seriously. I thought we dont have a right not to be offended. But if firing people for doing offensive things is the game you want to play then I want to play too. We can start with people who wear Che shirts and every actor who ever played a German in a movie. Then we can move on to sex offenders all the way to the people who say horrible things about Trump supporters. You in?

    Right now Peter Strzok is suing to get his job back saying his 1A rights were violated. He offended Trump supporters by calling us smelly Walmart people. Many of us were offended by the kneelers and flag burners. What was your response to that? Oh, you guys said it was their 1A right and we had to suck it up.

    Did you ever watch Hogan’s Heroes? Just wondering.

    This is just stupid. Flipping someone off is offensive. I wouldn't fire an employee for doing it. Giving the ol Sieg Heil is in a whole different league, as I think you're well aware.

    This is also stupid. Che is some minor bandit no one knows anything about, except that it's "edgy" to wear a shirt with his face on it. Hitler is the embodiment of pure evil, as everyone knows. Wearing a shirt with Hitler's face on it is in a defferent category, as you're well aware. There's not an equivalence here.

    Maybe. But police officers are not a minority class in need of specific civil rights protection, like Jews are. There's no history of persecution. Cops are an arm of the state, with all the state's backing. Cops wield extraordinary power in this society. "Death to the police" is not the same as "Death to Jews".

    See....there’s always an excuse for why it’s ok when you guys do it. How about those fine people who praise Allah? They murdered far more people than Nazis. But the left always gives them a pass and call it racist to mention it.

    Face it bro, hate is hate. If you’re going to give a pass to one group, then in order to be consistent and avoid being hypocritical, you have to give to all groups, even the ones you’re told not to like.

    Yes, I agree with most of this, but it's not happening in a historical vacuum. Let's say BLM hates the cops as much as Nazis hate Jews. BLM is not even close to being in the same category as Nazi's. The people BLM hates are an arm of the government. That is way, way different than hating a minority or religious group. We didn't go to war against BLM. BLM never commiitted genocide, and on and on. Historical context is important.

    Nazis are done and over with. The only thing they’re good for is being the enemy in movies, other than that they are history and inconsequential. BLM, Antifa and others are currently in the hear and now.

    All I’m saying is if you’re going to hate hate, then hate all hate and not make exceptions.

    Man, that's gotta be the worst "training" ever.... even sexual harassment training will get you a few chuckles...

    Doesn't sound like it's retroactive, however.... That class still fully fired...

    I personally wouldn't have minded if they made this class go through that training instead of firing (with a few other non-firing penalties as well)...
