We've made the Prime Minister cry. :(

I didn't see the Prime Minister resign live, but I heard she was almost bought to tears at the end.

Now I actually saw a replay of it on the news in the headlines, and my reaction was an honest
    'Awwwwwwwwwww!.."

Don't blame Theresa May, blame the EU's rhetoric.

Theresa May started with a competitive wide eyed vision for London remaining financial capital of the world, reminded us of a world outside of the EU, and gave a speech at Somerset House outing her 12 objections for negations in January 2017.
--- Then she went to the EU; the EU said 'no cherry picking' - Gave Theresa May a deal of their own making which failed, and now the EU say it doesn't matter who the PM is, they still won't change.

Think about it, it's not the Prime Minister's fault, she was ambitious and fine before she went off to the EU and came back a broken record of Northern Irish backstop, EU customs union, £39bn divorce bill.

IDK, that means closer ties to America than if it was 'I ♥ Maduro' Corbyn, for example.

What a choice, Johnson or Corbyn. Bit like Clinton vs Trump, how do democracies throw up such bad leaders? Actually they probably are spewed up....

When you said 'What a choice, Johnson or Corbyn. '
In my mind I said 'Not really.' 'Who's going to vote for Corbyn?'.. Lol
. . . but in that lies the danger of complacency; we must be on the ball here if we're to avoid a Jeremy Corbyn premiership.

    Hillary Clinton and Jeremy Corbyn are like day and night;
Jeremy Corbyn would never bed with big Jewish bankers in Wall Street.
That's like saying 2016 was Trump Vs. Hitler, no, Jeremy Corbyn is much worse than Clinton imo. - Much worse.

I didn't mean as a direct comparision, more a question of choosing the least bad option rather than the best one. That's probably what happened in the US in 2016, if the Democrats had had a decent candidate they may well have won.

I agree about Corbyn, btw. But Johnson is a disgusting apology for a human being.

She was a Remainer, and once a Remainer, always a Remainer!! Those weasel words at the end when she burst into years about 'the country I love' were exactly that - weasel words, because anyone who loves their country doesn't want bloody foreigners to govern it ffs! Her trouble was taking the advice of her Downing Street 'advisers' instead of wiser heads, and she richly deserves all she's now got. Her only legacy is being the worst prime minister of the United Kingdom ever. And after Cameron, Blair, Brown, and Major, that's some 'legacy'.

What do you mean 'disgusting'? WTF's he done to deserve that description? If whoever becomes the next Tory leader starts faffing around with more ****ing 'deals', and going cap-in-hand to Brussels every 5 ****ing minutes begging for a new one, and we don't leave on 31st October (I heard one of the contenders for the new PM mention 'another extension' last night on BBC news), the Tory party will be finished for ever.

Thinking back to May's bizarre rambling speech outside number 10 yesterday, where most of it was positive spin about Conservative 'achievements' over the past 2 decades, as I listened to her reeling them off one by one, I was thinking that I could reject every single one of them. The only one I couldn't have argued with was the one about children being - sod it, I've forgotten what it was now, which just goes to show how bloody trivial it was. And as to her 'dedicated service to the country' - in the Home Office as well as to the country more broadly as PM - I couldn't think of one thing, not one thing, which she could be remembered for as being a notable achievement. In other words, the woman has been absolutely effing useless. Almost as useless as her friend Grayling - hold that thought??

German Media says Nigel Farage where British Media says Jeremy Corbyn.
