So, despite Democrats having a favorability rating of a cold fish, I've heard it said that the Generic Democrat is actually doing well in the polls, but what are the positions of the Generic Democrat???

You know all those polls that ask if a generic democrat would be more favorable in an election then a specific republican??? No I don't either.

I hope I didn't miss any major options. It's kind of hard to keep track of the democratic party platform it's moving so quickly.

Don't forget "pro-transgender" and "pro-homosexuality". Hyperliberal Democrats are all over those, too!

Generic party not in power has a polling advantage over party in power more midterms than not in modern history.

You need to define what you mean by "generic democrat". It sound like just you putting up a bunch of stereotypes for people to choose from. A better poll would be just to ask democrats themselves what they believe. What one person thinks of someone they don't even know is meaningless.

I guess we can extrapolate from your poll that the "generic" Republican supports eating his own children and running down women in his car with a burning cross attached to the bumper.

I mean when they say a generic democrat is leading in the polls, what is the generic democrat??? I just put up some policy positions as well as attributes some democrats have had to get a sense of what people identify as a generic democrat. This is a general poll, not just for democrats.

Do by all means create that poll from your mind and link it here, it would be interesting to see what you can come up with. :gop::)

Yes. that happens when they just make up 'policy' as they go along and focus on their poll numbers.

Have there been any governors races between November of last year and today? Those tend to happen in November, you know two months from now.

If you really wanted to know, you wouldn't have loaded your poll. But you would rather express disgust than learn anything.

There's no disgust. Rather there's what a generic democrat can get away with.

    Thread summary:

All the Republicans here are deeply ashamed of their party's corruption and incompetence (except for the open sociopaths, who can't feel shame.) They know they can't defend their own catastrophe of a party, so instead they're deflecting from their total failure by rage-weeping, flinging race cards wildly, and lying about Democrats.

That's another reason why it's so good to be a liberal. Being that our policies are moral and successful, we can always defend them, so we don't have to deflect.

When I read your statement, "They know they can't defend their own catastrophe of a party, so instead they're deflecting from their total failure by rage-weeping, flinging race cards wildly, and lying", honestly, I was absolutely CERTAIN that you had to be describing hyperliberal, rabid DEMOCRATS!

One point of curiosity... although liberal Democrats "fling race cards wildly" ALL the time, nearly every time they open their mouths, and have done so for decades, when have we seen Republicans do this...? I'm an old guy, and I swear, I cannot remember any Republicans flinging race cards! :confusion:

I don't know what a 'generic' democrat is, but if i go by the loud claims on this forum, i would suggest these as likely 'positions' of the dims...

Ok, ok.. i couldn't do it... too graphic. I had a drawn graphic of gay sexual positions, & was going to make a joke about it.. but it isn't really funny, even if the dims are obsessed with sexual deviance more than traditional values.

If you want to know what the average Democrat believes and cares about, it is easy to find polls on the subject. But that assumes you care about truth.

If you prefer to believe nonsense, on the other hand, you can just ask people who are not Democrats to make stuff up.

rage-weeping? What exactly is rage-weeping? Is rage-weeping another one of the made-up political terms?
