I know there have been some doubters but I think overall the poll is going nicely. We can see above all that a generic democrat is a feminist, beyond that they love Bernie Sanders proposals.

Keep up the good work by voting for what a generic democrat has as his or her positions and qualities...

You forgot one: Whatever is worst for America. That would be the one that I'd vote for...

What are the positions of the generic Democrat?

Your poll choices are obviously biased and pro-conservative. They can do nothing to enlighten you or anyone else about the generic positions of Democrats. I'll cite one example: the first choice: Pro Abortion. Many Democrats are Pro Choice, not Pro Abortion. They regard abortion as a last resort answer to a personally painful situation, but believe in the right of every individual to make the choices necessary to follow and fulfill their own personal life dreams. It stems from a strong core belief in personal, individual freedom. It also argues against having anyone, anywhere inflict their views of right and wrong over you or your choice--whether government or church or neighbors with too few personal interests in life to divert their unwelcome attentions from you. I am a Democrat. I am Pro Choice--NOT Pro Abortion. I support freedom of the individual to make choices in their personal lives that no outsider can possibly understand or feel deeply enough to become qualified to overrule the decision of the individual who is personally affected by that choice. If freedom has meaning, then this is at the core of that definition. The Pro Life attempt to inflict their view over Pro Choice advocates, is a living example of an extreme religious minority imposing their narrow views over everyone else through the manipulation of the law. It contradicts the whole idea of personal freedom and/or taking individual responsibility for one's own life--which is something conservatives have long preached as their own ideology. Pro Life actions are a living contradiction to conservative values.

No, Pro-Abortion is the right term. Few people support abortion today, it's a minority position, that's why it's important to know if the generic Democrat candidate supports it. It takes a certain quality of candidate to take that position considering they might loose over it.

    Anyway I'm a democrat, not a conservative. ;)

Well for one thing the generic democrat probably does not appreciate the loaded way you describe these positions or the cherry-picking you engage in to choose which to list. Maybe you will have more success in attracting those who know the subject if you ask generic democrats how to phrase our position so that it more accurately reflects our stance.

but that was never the point, now was it?

How the hell do we know? We would have to examine polls and then give a summary of what we found and it would be questioned and criticized. So you could do the same to get your own answer.

A question that would be more likely to illicit responses would be "What are the positions of democrats who post on this forum?"

And BTW, many of your choices are offensive and designed to poke and jab democrats and express your own contempt more than to obtain opinions.
