I just discovered a new show this morning by chance on Amazon Prime and sat here and watched 5 episodes before I just now stopped to see how many more I had to go.

It's called Clarkson's Farm and it's on Amazon Prime.

WTF?!?!? These guys appear to be documenting fantastically bizarre phenomena at a location with a long history of reported paranormal or ET or supernatural phenomena. This location has very long and complicated history. I would assume it's all bs except some of these guys are qualified scientists. They document activity measured on spectrum analysers, FLIR cameras, a spectrum of radiation detectors, and a range of other measurement and scientific devices. They also claim significant medical effects.

They also interview other apparently serious people, such as a retired Colonel, who tell fantastic stories and who have come to believe fantastic things are in play. It is the craziest thing I've ever seen that seems to be real.

I caught an episode of Plebs on TV the other week, was alright.
First time I watched it. It was an episode about moving house or something.

Got BritBox on Amazon Prime the other week for something else (Tony Robinson's Coast to Coast Episode 6 where he goes to Whitby just because I wanted to see what else there was to do in Whitby/His show showed me a bakery and a Whale Watching boat, so I'm glad I decided to get BritBox in the end for it). it's got Plebs, I saw a couple of episodes from the first series the night before last.
    It's set in Ancient Rome.

This is the only reason why I got BritBox.

Episode 6 of a show Tony Robinson did called Coast to Coast where he walks from St. Bee's to Robin Hood's Bay - and I'm going to this place this year and considered its subscription of £3p/m a travel cost as I just got it to research activities to do in Whitby since I've booked/given myself the better part of a week in, this year.

Everything else on Britbox like full episodes of Spitting Image and Father Ted and Doctor Martin (another show I only saw to Britbox), the new Birds of a Feather I also saw because of BritBox and Red Dwarf s1 - s8 and Plebs.
It also has Blackadder and I saw one episode on it last night I don't remember seeing before.

I detested Agatha Christie's Poirot starring David Suchet growing up, but now I'm older, and with BritBox, I find myself getting into Poirot.

Rick and Morty are back and I just saw it on E4, the first time a UK network beat a cartoon website I like to the premier of an episode that came out yesterday in the country that made it.
I just saw S5 E1 of Rick and Morty on TV.

It's been really damn good. I normally read spoilers for Marvel shows, but I've been letting this one catch me by surprise.

I definitely avoid spoilers for this although after I've seen the show I do catch up on much of the online commentary.

Scrolling through I have noticed anyone suggesting Orphan Black. Loved it. Hated to see the series end. I also just binged The Wire and am slowly warming up to Counterpart.

I watched Counterpart and was surprised at how they took an interesting premise (spy drama/alternate worlds) and made it boring.

A shame too because it had a great cast and JK Simmons playing two doppelgangers was some great acting.

Just finished The Wilds. Not a bad series and will definitely watch season two when it comes out later this month.

    Please pardon my retro:
I enjoy MeTV, broadcast television including classic series such as Gunsmoke, the series that immortalized the expression "get outa Dodge".
I was born in '54, and do occasionally recall detail from an episode I'd seen a half-century earlier.
But it's tough to beat these old comedy westerns for entertainment value. The early Gunsmoke episodes were not only black & white. They were also half-hour format. So they tell the story, but in half the time.

New show, a little quirky, but worth watching, for the 3 episodes I've seen (best to DVR, though). I'll try to explain. When I first gave it a look, it did not seem as advertised. That's because it's really 2 different shows. There is a retarded sitcom about a self-centered, Boston-style, cream brain, and his small circle. They actually use a set that intentionally resembles the home interior in Everybody Loves Raymond, but that's where the similarity ends. The laughter, of necessity, is canned. These parts are the ones it is good to have on DVR, so you can fast forward through them.

The other story, though, is of his wife, who he uses like a door mat, which she has always accepted. But something has gotten into her, lately. I suppose that was covered in the first 3 episodes, before I started watching. I got on, as the show seemed to be focusing more on the wife, going through her transition, after deciding that the key to her happiness, is to kill her husband. The show is called, "Kevin Can F___ Himself," and it's on AMC, Sunday nights (multiple times, beginning at 9 P.M., Eastern).

This is a semi-serious drama, but a kind of racy one, with intrigue & tension. Actually, the connection I made, in the last episode, was that they are trying to do their own version of this obedient housewife going through a Walter White transformation into Heisenberg (from Breaking Bad). That's what made me think to mention it here, since I feel I've seen a lot of fans of that show. This is not as intense, for sure. A bit lighter-- what would be called a dark comedy. But an interesting one.

I wanted to spread the word before it's too late; the first season is very abbreviated: just 8 episodes. That means just 2 more, including tonight's. Though I'm not sure where you can find earlier episodes to view; so, without having seen a couple of the last ones, it may already be too late.

The earlier episodes would be on AMC+

I thought the show concept was intriguing, but didn't like the execution; it just didn't work for me. I turned it off before the end of the first episode.

When I first checked it out, one if those first episodes, I was turned off as well-- I couldn't have lasted more than two minutes. It was during one of those dopey Kevin-segments. But, like I said, the focus moves much more to the wife's story by episode 4, which is the first one I actually watched.

BTW, I looked on my ON DEMAND menu, under AMC+, but didn't see this show.

Well I have Directv and it does list the show in On Demand, however the back episodes are on AMC+ which requires a separate paid subscription, so that may be why they don't show up on your On Demand offerings. They do show up on mine, but since I'm not willing to pay for AMC+, they are not available to me.

My ON DEMAND menu shows free programs, as well as programs that require subscription, to watch for free, but which I could, alternately, pay a fee, for each episode, to watch. So it does include networks that I don't pay for, like HBO and AMC+, but, for whatever reason, that show is not listed, under AMC+, on my menu. I guess it depends on your system.

    .

I hardly ever watch current fictional TV series. However, I have become interested in the new series, "Clarice", [Clarice = FBI Agent Clarice Starling - take off from the movie, "The Silence of the Lambs."]
