?

What are you going to do with your $600 "stimulus" from 'Uncle Sugar'?

  1. Use it to pay half my rent.

  2. Use it to pay my heating bill.

  3. Use it get some more tattoos.

  4. Use it to pay for half of a new phone.

  5. Use it to pay for half of a new TV.

  6. Put in my checking account and pay off overdrafts.

  7. Stick in in my savings account where it will earn 0.01% percent interest.

Results are only viewable after voting.

Now that the political volleyball game with the 'stimulus' is finally over with, what are you going to do with the six hundo you'll be getting from 'Uncle Sugar'...?

You can change your vote during the seven days the poll will be open, but you must vote to see results.

My suggestion: Take the $600 in cash -- preferably ten's and twenty's, and stick it under your mattress. What's coming 'over the hill' are even worse days -- NOT the 'cavalry riding to the rescue'.

it is suppose to be followed by 2,000 more, so a total of 2,600 in new tattoos.

    Look outl!

'tats' would contribute to the onset of lymphoma cancer even earlier! :cynic: . But, that would be one way to cut down on the number of people who live long enough to begin drawing their Social Security!

That'll cover my scotch bill for ~2.5 months, if I stick to the mid-shelf stuff.

I can't vote under your poll options, because I won't be getting any. I make more than the threshold. You should have included an option for that.
Never in my life I got any handout from the government whatsoever, of any kind (not even student loans).
I always paid for my own way in life, with the fruits of my hard work.

there are innovative strategies in medicine to extend lives for entitlements and welfare.

for example the new covid vaccine.

Can't even pay rent with that. So I guess just pay what I owe my mom, and maybe put some money down on the the car.

Good point! This poll has a very short 'shelf life', expiring in just another five days. I'm just trying to 'take a pulse', knowing (as I'm sure you do with your medical knowledge) that people's opinions change with whatever hits the headlines.

But, I'll be creating a new, similar poll after this one expires, and in it I will put more options.

not fair, I can't vote as none of the options apply to me, so I can't see the results

so I will just pick one at random "Use it to pay half my rent."

I do agree though, the Trump crash is coming, this is just postponing it, republicans in congress have made it clear, they really don't care about the people

Sympathy is not pity. Sympathy is "feeling with" or "feeling the same"

I will put it in my savings account to spend when Europe opens back up to we mouth-breathing Americans with cooties. $600 should be enough to buy me at least one fish and chips or something.

Icing on the cake? The mutant virus strain, which was recently discovered in England, is now confirmed to be in the U. S. this afternoon -- in a sparsely-populated county just outside the Denver metro area! Better circle the wagons now!

You are right -- and -- once again, the person they diagnosed with the mutant form of the virus had no travel history, just like all the other Americans they've found the mutant strain in! This is starting to seem like something out of "The Twilight Zone"! :cynic:

We used both rounds of stimulus checks to pay off all credit cards and one of our cars. These measures freed up several hundred dollars each month that used to be spent to feed that debt. We were nearing the point of paying off these debts on our own, but stimulus saved us about 1.5-2 years of payments.
If there is going to be a 3rd round, the money will go straight into our investment portfolio.
I know, there are lots of complaints about 2020 out there, but to my family the year was a success from financial perspective.

Scratch up as much ammo as I can sniff out... don't expect anybody to come save me either, unless lip-service counts.

Don't worry... with good ol' Joe at the helm now, Congress will be raining free money in a virtual downpour for many months to come -- courtesy of the Federal Reserve central bank buying non-existent 'bonds' and printing even more trillions of imaginary dollars.

And when their ledgers don't have room for "trillions" anymore, they'll just shift on up to "QUADRILLIONS"! The fun never ends....

Lots of luck finding any damned ammo, Joe. The more popular caliber stuff has been almost entirely *SOLD OUT* since the middle of LAST SUMMER! Just try finding any .380 ACP, .357 magnum, .38 special, or 12-guage number #4 (and totally forget about "00", too).

Oddly, you can find a fairly consistent supply of 9 mm, but I've never been much of a fan. In a concealed 'pocket' pistol, a 9 mm is too big and weighs too much. As a holstered sidearm, I'd much rather have a .45 semi-auto or a .357 magnum.
