    Guess Who,
I am just taking a trip down memory lane, most of the time with the videos that I post. I used to listen to Queensryche when I was i high school, some 29 to 31 years ago. I was not in high school after 29 years ago, but I still listened to Queensryche at the time.

I can take some songs in small does now that I use to like. When I was in my song loving prime songs were romantic or silly mostly. Or about war and hardship so guess not really much difference now.

I use to sing this song too, and still have Patty Page CD to day for some of the old songs on it.

I knew and still do every word in this song LOL, guess it was the beat .Plus the fact that ran thru the briars and the bremmel's in Stone Mountain Ga, wild and free,I was a tomgirl. M mother was always telling me, " walk like a lady, not a football player " and made me walk with book on my head.

Since Old Man Winter has been knocking on some of our doors, I thought I'd post a couple of tunes off of one of my favorite Winter albums, Al Di Meola's Winter Nights.

What really makes this recording wonderful and unique for me is Roman Hrynkiv's work on bandura. Here's a picture of some Ukrainian dude and his bandura (nice hair):

I'll post some of the Christmas carols on this album in December, but in the meantime here are a couple of covers of Simon & Garfunkel's "Scarborough Fair" and Peter Gabriel's "Mercy Street":

For those of you who might be looking for some new Xmas music this year the CD is still in print and available at places like Amazon.

It's a beautiful album. I had never heard of a bandura before Mrs. Talon dropped that CD on me a couple of years ago.

Speaking of which, it's been 11 months since I played that album - where the heck did this year go??? :omfg:

While I'm freaking out, here's some more Roman Hrynkiv on bandura:

While I'm on the subject of unusual stringed instruments, here's Pat Metheny on the Pikasso...

And for if you think you might ever grow up. (Yeah, it's a weird video. I suggest not watching it.):

In 1966, I was 9 years old. I was smoking cigarettes, but not doing drugs yet. I might have heard this when it was first released, but can't say for sure. Anyway, I liked it then and still like it today. It's a great song.
