I would argue that we're carnivores or that omnivores are carnivores. Carnivore is defined as feeding on flesh. If you're an omnivore you feed on flesh.

I am a level 2 vegetarian. That is, I only eat animals that are themselves vegetarians.

Well, carnivores do eat meat - but not meat only.
That's why I find omnivore the better word.
    Sometimes one also reads "flexitarian".

I don't see how you can call yourself vegetarian if you eat fish.

I don't wear labels well, so 'other' it is.

Meals in our house are broken into basic categories. Fins, feathers or hooves. Vegetables are the 'fixings' for all of those.

After watching some videos of people catching wild hogs, they will eat more than some of us thin.
One rancher living in Oklahoma has cattle, donkeys and Alpacas. He reports wild hogs eat the baby animals with no remorse.

Most carnivores eat both. The exceptions that come to mind would be called the obligate carnivores and I'm thinking snakes and cats. These would be called obligate carnivores.

omnivore... tho' I have looked down at what I'm eating and see frijoles, green chilies and tortillas and exclaim to my wife that she is making a vegetarian outta me.
(I do not remember the difference between vegetarian and vegan.. mostly because I just don't care)

I am other I guess. I did vegetarian for awhile and then moved to Flexitarian. Both are hard to do on the run about of day to day life in my experience, plus I got to really hate soy everything as far as processed food. I eat meat, but not lots of it. I use it mostly for the added flavor. For instance, I will get pork fried rice instead of no neat fried rice and feed the pork to the critters. It just tastes better. Most of the meat I eat these days are minable and processed. For instance, I might make a lunchmeat sandwich with only one or two slices of lunchmeat but a salad of vegetables on top. I do a lot of dairy though, especially cheese.
