When someone says "sex is fun" is pretty darn clear it implies the sex is consensual. Otherwise they would say "rape is fun".
By what standard? It is certainly immoral reasons to have an abortion, but there are also immoral reasons to give birth. Abortion is a moral right.
That is why laws are NOT based on "morals"..... they vary widely from person to person. Thank you. I never said you mentioned laws You seem very confused. I don't have to wonder why....

A ban on elective abortion in the government controlled health system has nothing to do with being "big government."
When two people have sex and are planning on getting an abortion if they fall pregnant, the fetus is not consenting to that. The act of procreation and abortion are connected. Women do not just fall pregnant out of nowhere. Potentiality matters. Even though the fetus does not exist yet, I would argue it still has the rights to consent.
In what world is that ever happening? Do you really think most people are having sex solely for procreation? It is using her body and is completely dependent on it for its survival. In doing so, it imposes severe health risks on the woman and lots and lots of paim. The consent for it to use her body must come from the woman. Anything else is a perversion of consent.
How does something that doesn't exist have any rights ??!! You want something that doesn't exist to have more rights than the EXISTING woman it's in ????
I think people wouldn't object to efforts made to lower the abortion rate. BUT, that is NOT what the anti-abortion forces are focusing on. They are focusing on laws against women. And, they are assuming that there IS NO OTHER WAY. That direction is both false and unconscionable.
