We need some common sense solutions to a global problem.
    The problem is global warming.

What can be done? Does anyone have any good ideas that will work.

    I am all ears.

What problem? Last time I checked, there's a lot, and not all of them in my head.

You will never get people to care about pollution through force so give up the government regulation route. We live in a selfish society and many people simply dont give a darn. Politics slows down progress in my opinion because you just have people pandering to one side of the arguement to line there pockets.

I will start there with more to come after some people attack me. My personal stance on this will be reveiled later on in the show

I wasn't really concerned with government regulation. I was thinking more along the lines of reasonable solutions like geothermal heating and cooling, reclaiming deserts ect.

Give bureaucrats avalanches of money, along with the power to regulate every aspect of our lives, in return for their assurances that we'll all cook or drown unless we continue to obey their imponderable dictates.

    That's pretty much it.

Shove the upper middle class populace and below into small getto type cities and make them rig up bicycle man powered generators for lighting. Keep them in these cities and do not alllow them access to open lands where wildlife and plant life can flourish. Design a synthetic food made from plankton that will give them all nutritional needed and ration amounts out to each citizen. Give the sick an elderly the option of assisted suicide in goverment built "New Beginning" centers. Use the dead corpses from the sick and elderly in the development of processed alternative food sources to protect the oceans plankton.

    Sound Familiar?
