Under what type of weather conditions/climate do you feel the most comfortable and what is your favourite season? Do you enjoy the climate where you currently live or would you much rather live elsewhere?

Personally, I do not like it insanely warm and certainly do not like it insanely cold either. The problem living in Sweden is that summers can sometimes get too damn warm and winter sometimes get too damn cold. Also, I am not really a big fan of the few hours of daylight during winter.

I love all these "liminal seasons" ie the "in-betweens"; when spring slowly fades to summer, summer fades to autumn etc etc. If I were to point out a climate I especially enjoy it would be that of Swedish summer nights - Those are just fantastic!

Hate summer - with extreme prejudice. Mind you, I live in a place which sees summer temps above 100F.

I adore winter - with extreme extremeness. Cold, to me, is delicious. I adore snow, more than I can put into words. I'm like those who love the sea ... I get antsy if I don't spend time in the snow every winter.

I like winter and snow too as long as it doesn't go below -8°C. Luckily that is quite rare in this part of the country nowadays, but - unfortunately - so is snow. Winters of today are just a wet mish-mash of snow and rain creating this disgusting gray, slush-like goo on the ground and then it suddenly hits freezing point and everything turns to ice instead. Add to this that there is no daylight at all.

Because of this, I much more prefer autumn. Autumn and spring is lovely. Summer (apart from the nights) is criminally overrated and winter just kind of sucks.

Furthermore, summer-fashion is really ugly. People wear much nicer and more stylish clothes when itbis colder outside. I despise summer clothes. :p

I would probably love winter less if I lived in Swedenborg. I can see why it might become old quickly, under your current conditions. Where I live, winters are quite tame by comparison. We do get a reasonable number of mornings below zero(c), but daytime temps are more usually between 10 and 15c. We don't get snow either, so I have to travel to get my fix. Luckily, we're only about 2 hours from reliable snow here.

YES! Summer is criminally overrated - couldn't agree more. The nights, while pleasant for outdoor activities (if you live somewhere mosquitoes aren't a problem), are awful if you're trying to sleep.

And YES! again to the summer fashions. Awful. I much prefer to be in 3 layers topped by my Fjallraven hooded parka :p

Expensive taste, too, unfortunately. I love my Fjallraven threads. They are indestructible, and fantastic for gardening/camping/hiking/going to the Opera ..

I've said a few times previously - being an inveterate sun-worshipper I simply don't know how anyone can live in a cold climate all their life. If I did I'd put on my hiking boots, set the compass to due south, and start walking. (Cue 'These boots are made for walking'? )

I love warm weather. Grew up in the South where summers are brutal with 10000% humidity where it feels like you're drowning while breathing. Spring and fall down there are much more pleasant but I'd still take the muggy summers over the winters of the North.

I absolutely HATE cold weather. I hate snow, ice, and basically dislike any temperature that forces me to put on anything more than a light jacket. I rarely even leave the house in the North during winter months except for work. All of the things I enjoy doing require warm weather which is not very prevalent when the freakin Canadian border is right outside of your town...

I'm never satisfied with the weather. In the summer, I want it to be cold. In the winter, I want it to be warm. It's my cross to bear.

My preference is warm weather and semi-dry climate. Fortunately my state is well situated for this and likely to become even better. As it is I have noted shorter and less dramatic winter weather over the last few decades to the point I have not needed a snow shovel for three years now, and only for times in five years before that. I used to hate the winters here as I would need to shovel the drive way several times a year and the roads at times were impassable....not so much as a serious dusting this year, or last.

I live in a sub tropical climate. It is nice in the spring and fall. It is very tolerable in the winter. But hot as Hades in the summer. I get all my outside work done...hopefully... before summer sets in.

I just recently moved from NW NJ to Mid-Delaware, largely due to climate.
Where I was, the winter before last I had temps 8, 6, 2, 10, 4, and 15 BELOW Zero. Yes, I know, upstate NY and other places get much colder, but there is NOTHING you can do outside when it is below zero.
I moved and when it does snow, it disappears quickly, and there isn't much.
People often ask why I didn't move to the South - it gets too hot, and as soon as you get below the Mason-Dixon line, you lose 40 IQ points....
