No, it's yin. He doesn't like it when you spell his name wrong. I would vote for yang or tulsi in a heartbeat if I thought either had any chance. I can only hope Bernie puts one of them on his ticket to get some moderate draw in.

like i've mentioned earlier, the problem is they're running under the dem moniker, if either won they'd be stonewalled by both parties. what they need to do is rally the troops into changing the rulebook that the dnc & gop wrote as cohorts to keep a third party from successfully forming... then go back to being true independents & give it hell!!!

In his defense, Democrats aren't known for their work ethic.

Yeah, that'll be great until it runs out of money.

You could very well be right, and in my heart-of-hearts, I hope you are. BUT, (you knew there'd be a 'but') -- never underestimate the lure and seduction of FREE STUFF, especially when it involves a population like the one we're saddled with today. The under-40 crowd have grown up with the idea that they simply cannot make it without somebody (Mommy and Daddy, the government, SOMEBODY) giving them what they need to live and be content....

So, when the Demcrat "Pied Piper" starts playing his Free Stuff tune, the rats will blindly follow right behind him wherever he goes. And there will be no difference in the way that people are treated -- whether they actually deserve to get anything "free", or not... just as long as some pandering Democrat comes out on top. I simply don't understand why Trump can't figure this out.... Not everybody wants to risk losing his ass (again) in the stock market!

Since 1975, cost-of-living increases have been applied to Social Security, supposedly calculated against "inflation". Just because there hasn't been a COLA for Social Security worth mentioning during the last 10 years doesn't mean there can't be any more of them. Besides, how much have house prices gone up during the last ten years? How much have most people's RENT gone up in that time? How about prescription medicine? On and on and on.... The "experts" never count all the factors that SHOULD be counted.

Here are the Social Security COLA's since 1975. And none of this is 'bankrupting' the Social Security trust fund:

    [IMG]. and 2018 - 2.0%... 2019 - 2.7%. DISGUSTING!

It might not be going bankrupt for that reason, but it is going bankrupt.

Raising the payments will just make it go bankrupt sooner.

Although the Social Security trust fund that supports Social Security retiree benefits will be depleted by 2034 if no changes are made, the system won't go bankrupt, thanks to all the workers paying taxes. The unemployment rate is the lowest since 1969 -- and those people are paying SS and Medicare taxes!

Social Security Benefits in the US Are Relatively Low
Social security benefits in the United States are below average (amounting to about $17,640 annually) by OECD measurements. However, U.S. workers tend to remain in the workforce longer than their counterparts in other countries with comparable GDPs, resulting in more years of work, but lower benefits despite it.

You can bet that Elizabeth Warren KNOWS this, and plans to leverage it all the way into the White House!

And Trump? He seems to be blissfully unaware... but he's probably never known anyone who needed their EARNED Social Security....

The problem is that Democrats are going to be spending tax money on illegal aliens and "climate change" in addition.

Everyone will be on government assistance under Democrats and they will bankrupt the country.

2/3rds of our budget is already in the form of wasteful, extremely fraudulent handouts.

It's time to end social security. It's a scam. You could make a hell of a lot more money for retirement if you invested the same amount of money you're handing to the government.

If we end Social Security tomorrow morning, that's fine with me! Make it effective on THAT day. Everybody on Social Security who has EARNED their benefits before THAT day should be able to go right on with the original agreement -- which they were forced to comply with all their working lives.

Even a Democrat is well aware that trying to screw tens of millions of Boomers out of their SS benefit is committing political suicide!

If the government needs more money to make legitimate SS recipients happy, in addition to all the inevitable bums, leeches, and parasites who suck welfare out of a dozen different kinds of handout systems, then the Federal Reserve central bank can simply go on "easing the quanta", "buying bonds", 'printing money', and doing all the same bizarre things they did when they dramatically RESCUED all those who were "too big to fail" eleven years ago... although very damned few of any of them deserved it....

Not one of them. Too Socialist. Trump needs to finish what he has started.
Dems don't like him because he has shaken the Political system up. The very reason we elected him.

Prediction, it will do just great during Trump'a second term.

MORE LIKE THE PRIVILEGED WHITE WOMAN NEVER TELLS A TRUTH WHEN SHE CAN TELL A LIE: Elizabeth Warren’s “life narrative will not hold up to scrutiny, I can guarantee you that”.

“I’m shocked that no Democratic candidate has gone after her on the Native American issue because how can you have a party that purports to be essentially a social justice party, where your possible nominee committed a fairly heinous social justice fraud, which is misappropriating Native American identity.”

Yeah, but these are the same folks who kept quiet about Epstein and Weinstein so they could continue their career of raping young women and in Epstein's case also arrange for other men connected with the Left to rape them.

Her plan Medical4all plan would include trillions in new taxes on employers as if there’s no impact. Maybe if you’ve lived your life in academia you don’t see that, but we all know in the real world… costs matter.

If that employer is taxed, guess what, that employer is going to eliminate jobs, or cut back hours, or forget your pay raise. The money doesn’t come from nowhere.

In the Soviet Union we saw the myth of what is the equivalent of Medicare for all. It was free healthcare, but you couldn’t get in to see a doctor!

How are you going to win nationally with women when you’re going to take away their private health insurance with a promise that government health plans will do better?

Democrats are scared to death that it could be a landslide of Walter Mondale proportions if she’s nominated.

And Bernie's no improvement. So essentially the question being asked by this discussion is which form of suicide do Democrats prefer?

Bernie or Warren. What a sad state of affairs the Democrats are in.
