I think the real issue is that bad cops are not being punished and when other cops see a bad cop in action, they just stand and watch vs protecting the public from them

So how do you figure they have control over congress. Given the Rs have control over the Senate.

This rioting is generally happening in cities that have Democratic mayors and city councils that are almost all Democrat. Minneapolis hasn't had a GOP mayor since 1973. Seattle hasn't had a GOP mayor since 1969. This the problem of one party that's had more or less absolute power in many urban areas for decades and they've screwed it up.

Not at all an accident. Decades of bad policies have lead to this, and the same people who caused the problem think they have the answers to the solution.
