He is looking at the camera in some of the photos because I was looking at him and smiling, sharing in the humour of the moment." But not everyone is convinced. Some total haters people think it's all a part of Trudeau's master plan to promote himself and/or entice people into a state of Trudeau-mania via his new shirtless way of life. Worse things could happen TBH. Admit it, he's adorable.

Pierre Trudeau had nothing to do with them. He did negociate the patriation of the Constitution and, with the provincial Premiers(except Quebec) brought in the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. Your reference to private property (land) ignores the fact that in Canada, all real property is owned by the Crown. People merely own a freehold lease from the Crown.

Trudeau was PM, Official Languages Act (1969) - The Canadian Encyclopedia Armed Forces were merged in 1968 so you're right.I think that "Royal" was stripped off in 1974 when Pearson was dead.; You're right that the Charter of No Rights and Special Pleadings was signed in 1982, along with the patriation of the Constitution; With property that ownership by the Crown is, except mineral rights, ceremonial, much as her being "head of state."
