I'll have to read your posts tomorrow. Time for me to go!
I've found in Springfield, OR ('The real home of The Simpsons')
A bunch of fun Simpsons like stuff from town founder statues to the scenery of the trees there;
Then I've found
great for running - I can use my running app and geo track this trail they have.
2 guitar shops in town, 1 looks very interesting.
1 guitar repair shop, I feel I've lucked out with this business and may have found a new best friend in OR if it all works out, that's how excited I am about finding this business - I'd visit it, just to say hello, and if I spoil my self with a new guitar, buy the parts, use him to get my guitar ready as I'd be in town and pay him to ship it back to England for me - I want to 'pop in so much' that I establish a workable relationship with this guy in Springfield to do this and ship it back to .
I hear tale of this water park there that among the sliders and waves pool boast hot tubs.
and y'know, Instagram, facebook, say I've done Springfield.
I also want to treat myself to a 5 star weekend in Portland while I'm at it, like a vacation in a vacation.
I'm from London, I want to see what city life is like in this part of the world, and shop and sight see in the day.
Be in my night hotel downtown posh/swanky part of town at night, fit from running in Springfield and groomed (because I'm shallow) and me with my charming self, British accent and all... I want to try my luck, go on the pull, in a really fancy hotel in Portland. treat myself to all that before back to that dive in Springfield I want for it's location is WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE of where I want to rent my car from and my flight I want gets in at 11 pm and I'd have been in transit for 16 hours (4 hours spent waiting at Salt Lake City Airport) - take a taxi from the airport to the motel, check in, sleep and then rent my car that day - photos of outside featured this geographical mountain/hill I see they've got that I like, but every review called it a dive, it's a dive, but I want it. - I want it to also combat the post holiday blues when I do go home.
In the end, I want to look forward to coming home again and I figure I'd miss a dive of a room a whole lot less, but I'd still be able to watch TV and try American snacks in it.
Ciao for now. @ChrisL
P O R N.
LOL Just kidding.
I watch porn.
Not sure, my eyes ain't what they used to be.
I like polticalforum because you type p and o into my browser, porn doesn't come up anymore, it used to - but I find this forum's good at hiding your porn like that.
I've already printed what I wrote there on to a Tshirt, I hope you know that. lol
Gonna do a Paypal thingy for orders?
My laptop is the only feed into my big screen TV (55", not the biggest on the market that I've seen but it's alright, and, most other TVs I know look tiny because I'm so used to my TV) I have hanging on the wall.
Not sure my TVs have even been on this week TBH. I watch a few reality shows, lots of PBS, a handful of scripted shows. I let them pile up and then binge watch on weekends and rainy days. Some of them now have such short seasons, I can do the whole season in a day, like Grantchester.
I just watched Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 4 which comes out this coming Sunday and it was glorious. And VPN is your friend in such endeavors.
I watched my idea for a Springfield, OR get away fall into budget today after a night of shopping around on the internet.
All i have to do is...
half my stay in Oregon and only go for a week.
Not go to Portland This was looking fun in the end, but I'd have enough money to either party in London or if I really wanted, Amsterdam..
and not have a car.
Things I want without a car are also within walking distance. I only wanted it for the car rental place being in walking distance... I found another reason for my visit within walking distance, meaning.. I could just get away from it all and be self sustained for a week in budget if I took the occasional Taxi and started my own Oregon trail (if I don't get lost doing it) for running.
The internet is cool.
We're limited by our budget and your imagination.
So please, since the web can't tell me, can anyone tell me, honestly... When does it stop looking like
and start looking like
How's Halloween weatherise in this part of the world?
I "borrowed" my friends Netflix. Mostly, I just watch films, but I also watch Rick and Morty - it is just in line with my low standards and awful taste in humour. Awesome.
I love this show. I loved the anti-globalist tone of the first episode for this season (The Rickshank Redemption). I highly recommend this show to anyone. The humor is gruesome sometimes, but it's brilliant. Every episode seems harmless when it starts, and by the end your mind is blown.
Where is it streaming at?
I don't know. This is one of the few shows that I will make time to tune into it when it comes on, and then watch again when its on demand. Other than on demand, I don't know where to find it. Try the cartoon network website. It's on Adult Swim.
You can also pick up the DVDs for season one and two at Walmart for like 20 bucks each.
Also on Adult Swim, Aqua Teen Hunger Force. Lol.
I think it is fairly warm there, or at least compared to my state in October. Probably like in the 50s and it is pretty rainy there I think. I've never been there though.
Cool... I'm expecting it to be cold, but, what do I know?
Haven't flown anywhere since I was 17 and I grew anxious of the prospect of flying again because of a slight agoraphobia of the openness of the air and heights involved in getting off the ground and all of that, so I YouTube'd what to expect (after y'know already viewing landings and take offs from these airports (there's videos posted for everything), I decided it'll be a kicker to view a video over the Atlantic to remind myself of what it's like...
This is the only thing that really gives me any anxiety, knowing how high and how fast you're going.
So now I've almost got to go just to push myself to fly over the Atlantic'..
Get out of this unhealthy comfort zone and do it.
I mean, I've done it before, and back then it didn't seem to worry me, but that was then, I'm only hoping that that's how I fly whenever, how I flew back then.
Sometimes I look at that video I found and it looks fun.
However when I first look at it I'm like 'no thank you'.
I guess, after that, I'm over it/looking forward to it.
