I didn't have cable for many years, so it was nice to put something on for background noise. I will watch Rick and Morty episodes multiple times because you always catch things you didn't see the first time around.

I don't think I've watched a TV show on the actual television for YEARS...always on the computer these days. Then again, I'm not a huge TV series fan :/ The only ones I've watched from start to finish are Lost, Parks & Rec and Game of Thrones... plus about 7,000 episodes of The Simpsons and Family Guy. :)

But I do love the idea of streaming from a home device. So much more convenient and far fewer ads ;) I've been looking into Can I Stream It, and it appears: "a 2016 study by eMarketer found that, for the first time ever, over half of all Americans now watch TV via a streaming service. This figure leaps to 93.7% of millennial internet users (aged between 15 – 35 years)."

Wonder if that will be 100% of Americans soon!

TV's gone down hill in the UK.
IDKY, but people started to care about who bakes what cakes to an unhealthy level here after the ballroom on TV shows made a come back for the first time in my lifetime.
Seriously, we're to blame for all these awful dancing shows that followed those awful talent shows that made a mockery of the music industry.
Thankfully the people fought back and made, through resistance, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE - KILLING IN THE NAME Christmas number #1 in the singles chart in the UK (which in the UK is a big deal and an honour to have) in 2009.

But please, buy better shows or make them ourselves or people will go to YouTube and the internet to get away from Saturday TV and ethnic minorities on Benidorm in the week insulting mankind in general (no one black or white is that stupid). - End TV's stupid TV, Top Gear is now something with Joey from Friends/Matt Le Blanc, it's not bad, but it's not Top Gear of old.
Top of the Pops though lip sync'ed in the end, was good!
