What, exactly, is socialism? Again this discussion seems necessary.

Ah. Another example of you making the accusation of a theft but being unable to say exactly who stole what from whom.

It's the same answer as I gave you last time and the time before that.

Ah, so it’s your standard answer. You can’t say who is stealing what from whom, despite your accusations

    Don't cry.

I thought this was a political discussion board. If you are afraid to justify your calls for aggression, feel free to close your browser.

You have made the accusations of theft. Yet you can't tell us what has been stolen by whom from whom.

All Marxist are authoritarian in the end. At least old school Marxist admit it. The new Richard Wolff style Marxist are as well and maybe even more so, and to be honest a bit slimey about it too.

The "Neo-Socialist" tries to comfort doubters by attempting to reconcile capitalism with socialism. It doesn't work- evidence is conflicting and their data is highly suspect. Besides in the end they have the same issue as Georgist- the government will control everything.

They're all authoritarians who want to take your stuff and control you.

Once you have established a government and they decide to levy taxes upon their citizenry for services to provide for the common good, you are a socialist, whether you like it or not.

Until you back that up with solid evidence and supportive links it's mere personal opinion coming from a highly partisan poster on a public forum.

Excellent. So you don't want to take anyone's stuff or control them. I'm happy to hear that.

Alll Marxist derived systems require a state to operate thus they require a monopoly of violence.

So yes, they want to control other people.

    Incorrect.

Capitalism does not require the state to operate all it requires is a free market for individuals to transact.

All Marxist based idealogies requires a monopoly of force by the state to operate.

Ok that's a crock. First, capitalist ABSOLUTELY requires a state, and Marxian ideologies are no different.

To protect capitalism, to facilitate it, to smooth out its "lumps". Etc.

Then you get chaos worse than what we had in 1915. You're talking what you know nothing about unless you can identify a country that had "free capitalism" and the government had zero laws affecting it. So what country would that be?

@TedintheShed's statement was that a state is not NECESSARY for capitalism.

There was a lot of chaos on 1915. I mean, that was the year the first stop sign was put up and when they started building a memorial to a war crimina. He will need to be more specific than that.

There has never been a capitalist country that had no laws related to the economy, so the notion that the state is not needed for capitalism is mere wild speculation.

I replied to YOUR statement that the state is not necessary for capitalism.

Prove it then. Identify one country where a state is not necessary.
